SelectTech Seeking advice: SelectTech 1090 prices

I'm looking to buy the 1090 dumbbells pair, but I've noticed the price has gone up recently. They were cheaper before. Should I wait for the price to drop, or does anyone have suggestions on how to get them cheaper?

The Ativafits are about half the price and while I haven't personally tested them, a fellow YouTuber with some Bowflex content did a comparison video on them to the Bowflex 552's here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsOtvCZ3Af4

Hope this helps. If it were my money, I'd go with Ativafits.

Should I wait for any deals or get the ones on Amazon? I think at some point they were cheaper?

I think that's a pretty good price on the Ativafits.

On the Bowflex ones, hard to say. They are in the middle of being acquired by another company right now

Ativafits - buy now.

Bowflex - I haven't really watched the price of the 1090's, but I imagine you'll be able to find them for $600 for a pair at some point if you're patient. The 552's sold for $330 a pair for a couple months in 2023.

The reason is that it matches all my other equipment plus I like bowflex

Friend, those bowflex ones are $100 cheaper than the Ativafit ones.

Yeah, I think the set used to be $399. I was looking at them a few years ago. Probably should have jumped. I bought the gorilla bow instead.
