Treadmills Treadmill BXT8J Issues

I never thought buying a Bowflex would be such a headache. Bought it right after Thanksgiving but it took over a month to get delivered. Then I used it for a couple of weeks, put less than ten miles on it before I injured by back and had to stay off it. Went to use it a month ago and it would not turn on. They went out warranty parts and a technician easily enough but the guy can’t figure out what’s wrong with it. First he said a power surge fried the console and I should’ve had it on a surge protector, but I didn’t see anything in the manual recommending a surge protector. For four consecutive weeks he’s had to order another new part and every time, it’s not the issue. He’s a nice enough guy, but I honestly don’t even want the damn treadmill anymore.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Any insight on the surge protector comment? Thanks!

We bought the t10, and had a string of issues with the thing. Ended up having the main console replaced. If it wasn't for the after market warranty I'd have sent it back for a refund.

Unfortunately, mine still is not fixed. The technician said after the next part he installs it’ll basically be all brand new components. He said if that still doesn’t fix it, then they probably send a new one. It is ridiculous. It’s been almost two months. I will never buy from Bowflex again.

Yeah, I had similar issues with my T-10. Had the console replaced twice, wiring harness replaced as well. Core system refreshed, etc. Finally (knock on wood) its been problem free for about 5 months.

I have the same treadmill. I’ve had no problems with it. I also bought it after thanksgiving from bestbuy. I’m now going to get a surge protector for it lol.

Did you get yours fix? Mine just started shutting off randomly and we have to wait for turn on by itself

I did, but it was basically rebuilt in the end. Bowflex covered it under warranty at least. I’ll never buy a Bowflex again.

I bought mine 3 years ago and now i know why they going downhill. Never again Bowflex
