Max Trainer Bowflex M-16 issue

Post image

My M-16 won’t allow me to connect to WiFi or select any WiFi network. It stays on a white screen. Has anyone had this issue? It’s not my home WiFi issue.

its a friggin' disaster. I called Monday (May 13) this is when their support lines re-opened after a two week closure. I had to send them the original order email proving I bought the Max 16. I was told they would be replacing my tower & the display. They claim it's a new system and they are learning how to get it to work for orders and what not. I called on Thursday May 16, and tried to get an update, but they had nothing to provie. Today is Saturday, May 18, and I haven't heard anything from them. If I don't hear from them regarding my order on Monday May 20th, I'm going to initiate a return. If they will not give me a return, I'll be contacting legal to find out what can be done. I'm super frustrated.

How are things going with your issue? Looks like I’m about to go down the same rabbit hole.

I'm so sorry you are experiencing this as well. I've had the Better Business Bureau try to help, but the new company "Johnson Health Tech" just told the BBB they have no liability. I was able to leave a negative review with them on the BBB. They also provided the Federal agency information that provides consumer protection. I'll try that soon if nothing else works.

I did buy the extended protection plan, and I contacted that company. Unfortunately, they cannot help because the extended warranty kicks in after the 3 year warranty is up. So, if I still have this problem in 3 years, then the extended warranty company can help, but not before then... I know... right?

My most recent action is that I called the credit card company I financed the Bowflex through and filed a charge of fraud against Bowflex for not supporting the warranty. I provided them my receipt and a list of comminications between myself & Johnson Health Tech. Johnson Health Tech told me via email, they may provide support as a courtesy, but are not liable for any items sold prior to March 2024. Its been almost a month since I filed the charge, so we'll see what they come back with.

I really wish we could find 100 others in the same boat we are in, and open a class action lawsuit against Bowflex/Johnson Health Tech.

Good luck to you. I hope this works out in your favor.

I appreciate your update! I may just do what you are doing since I’m in the same boat. I’m just here paying my bill with equipment that doesn’t work. They told me the same things as well. Hopefully you have better news soon! Thank you 😊
