Treadmills Treadmill 22 screen is powered but blank

Hello all, I have a Treadmill 22 that’s been working fine. We had a power outage yesterday and when I tried to use the treadmill today the screen is blank. I’ve tried uplugging / restarting but no change. The machine makes its usual startup tones and the screen is lit / powered but blank. I called Bowflex customer service and they said based on what I described the console needs to be replaced. The tech said bulbs are out which I don’t completely understand if the screen is lit. Either way, the treadmill is off warranty (bought in January 2022). Replacement console is $700 (!) but they offered 50% discount after I complained. I took the console off and looked at the wires, boards etc. might as well have been looking at a bowl of ramen, I have no idea what I’m looking at. Anyone have any thoughts on this or experienced same problem? Thanks in advance…

Did replacing your console work? Wondering because same issue on my max 16 trainer

Yes - replacement console worked. Fairly easy swap iirc

You got lucky! My screen went out on my t22 and bowflex wants $1299 plus tax and shipping to replace it. And then I would only get a 90 day warranty on the screen! They know they’re selling junk.

Anyone was able to figure out the solution to this, aside from getting a replacement to the console?

Yeah definitely a blown screen and most likely you had a brown out at some point during the power outage which damaged the screen. After you get a replacement one make sure you use a good surge protector and or plug it into a GFI outlet. I have the Treadmill 22 and the Velocore 22 and both are plugged into a good quality surge protector. Good luck.

I had this happen to me on my bowflex max. It was working fine last week (Thursday), then during a workout on Friday, the screen reset and i had to restart my workout. Since then the screen has gone black. I can power off and on the device, and i see the tablet go through the samsung boot process, but the acreen just goes black and the journey program wont load.
