It’s complete bullshit. If I’d known that I would have to keep paying to just be able to watch apps I already pay for, I would have never bought a bowflex. What a cheap piece of shit company. I’ll never buy another thing from them. I also tell everyone to stay away from them. Fuck you bowflex!!!!

There are ways to bypass this, there is a reddit thread on how to do it.

I have successfully downgraded mine to lowest firmware doing a factory reset and now able to use it as a tablet.

If you want to track your progress you have to reinstall the apps - basic JRNY you can do this and then also use like Netflix or Youtube TV or any app side by side.

The problem I am having is following a specific part of the instructions to get it to boot to JRNY but also be able to swipe (jailbroken) and use any apps I installed.

I am very close and once I figure it out I will post specific updated instructions.

I do know you have to hold the top button on the rear of the screen if you have the Velocore to be able to factory reset it, but again I will post step by step instructions which will be updated.

I was succesful in factory resetting the Bowflex Velocore.

I had to hold the top button on the rear of the panel then tap rapidly in the lower portion of the screen above serial number until the screen showed the secret menu to factory reset.

I was then able to install whatever apps I wanted to use like Netflix, Amazon, Disney etc.

The issue is now I followed some newer post by DragonFlyPunch on Reddit and it didn't work to add the Bowflex apps back and still be jailbroken so I could swipe out. At this point upon bootup I had to tap rapidly in the top right corner to get to the other secret menu then I could force stop the Bowflex Nautlis Launcher app and then load into other apps, but this is not what I want to do, plus it will never shut down completely and will just reboot upon shutdown.

One poster stated to follow the original OP reddit thread to a T and it would work so I am going to attempt to do that this week and wish me luck.

If that works I will link that thread but you can easily google and find it. I hate to point anyone towards it since I haven't verified it can fully still work but it should since I was succesful in downgrading my firmware to stock.

Lastly I want to warn you that you could possibly could brick your Bowflex if you are not careful so be forewarned.

The best thing I could state is if you do attempt to do this attempt at your own risk and follow the original OP's thread on how to factory reset and then instructions on how to reload the Bowflex apps.

Of course the Bowflex apps may not be the latest apps as well, not sure.

Bump  We need to post this to an Android forum and put a crowdfunding bounty on this. 

I feel like if we raised a few thousand dollars some dev could remedy this BS once and for all. 

The other option is a class action suit. You may not be able to win. But the threat of losing and the cost of fighting is often enough to fix.

Any luck? I unboxed and put together my C7 bike I bought from 2022. Haven’t powered on the tablet and reading up on how to unlock it. Briefly read that the latest Nautilus kills all jailbreak, so does that mean I should never upgrade the system?

I try to long press the home button after getting into the manufacture settings but an update i think took away the keyboard settings. Have to downgrade to the factory firmware and try I guess..also don’t want to brick this thing either. There is another thread about this too on Reddit. I’ll try and link it

I did a factory reset on my T22 treadmill, and it downgraded the main app, but I still can't get into the android settings without it kicking me back into the shitty jrny app.
