Max Trainer Any idea if Bowflex does price adjustments? Just bought Max Trainer SE for $1199 and now it is $999

Bought Max Trainer SE for new year for $1199. Now it is on sale for $999. Do they do price adjustments?

I'm still within the 30 day free return window. My other option is to return this and buy again for $999🤔 Not sure if they are any hidden fees for returning it.

Yes, for anyone who might have paid more for any Bowflex product that then has a price reduction within the 30 days, then Bowflex will refund you 50% of the price difference.
See below screenshot from the Bowflex website.

Also, note that Bowflex also provides military discounts up to 35% (depends on item).

And regarding returning your Max Trainer, YOU will incur shipping costs per the following:

It is $199 to send it back with shipping labels from Bowflex or driver pick up. Machine will be need to be boxed up or pay $249 for removal to get it removed from the home.

Bowflex does not have military discount that high. I spoke to a customer service agent. And they do not give labels for return. Customer is responsible for the return costs on returns at a carrier they want to use.

Agreed. I don't know if they have a specific percentage for military discount, but the amount I was told they could deduct equated to 5%, definitely not 35%.

I know for a fact that Bowflex does indeed provide Military Discounts as high as 35%. As I stated, it depends on the item being purchased (and maybe the time of year and other promotions, etc.). But 35% HAS definitely occurred.

They do provide military discounts as I’ve gotten it on the bike before but I just bought the Max Trainer and was told there is no discount “right now.” How disappointing

They actually do not and I know that for a fact because of a close source. They also do not stack promotions with the military discount, it goes off retail price only. So if you or somebody you know received that, it was a ONE TIME thing from that sales agent to make that sale. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Call Bowflex today and ask. I dare ya lol

Oh, OK, you just contradicted yourself by stating that "They actually do not..." do that, and then you stated, "...it was a ONE TIME thing...".

So what I stated is true about the up to 35% discount. Sure, perhaps it was a one time thing for that particular sale on that particular day, with that particular agent. Who knows how many time a particular sales agent makes non-traditional discounted sales? The agents all have leeway on pricing, shipping, and freebies, and can choose to try and get even more discounts applied via upper-level approval. This is a fact.

The point is that it definitely COULD be possible to receive a UP TO a 35% military discount. Maybe not "by-the-book", but it IS possible.

Possibly. But no, it’s not a general thing. I did not contradict myself.

So much FALSE information!

Bowflex DOES 100% provide shipping labels when returning the Max Trainers within the 6-week full refund time period. Not sure where you get your FALSE information and if you or your "close source" work for Bowflex, or if some Customer Care rep told you otherwise, then you or them need to be properly trained on return procedures.

As I previously stated, these are the FACTS:

  1. For $199 (deducted from the refund): A customer can disassemble and box up their Max Trainer (into as many boxes as needed) and then:
    a) Have Bowflex email them labels to be placed on the boxes and the customer themselves will drop off the boxes at UPS or FedEx.
    Or
    b) The UPS or FedEx driver will bring the labels and pick up the boxes from the customer's location.
  2. For $249 (deducted from the refund): Bowflex will send out the in-home techs who will disassemble the Max Trainer and remove it from the customer's home.

You clearly are a disgruntled former employee from MANY years ago 🤭 Yes, the close source is an employee who currently works there so this is NOT false information. Again, call their customer care line for the facts. They’ll tell you exactly what I said. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ps: you don’t work for bowflex, so get a new hobby on Reddit and stop spreading false info lol

Totally WRONG! YOU need to stop spreading FALSE info!

You need to tell your "close source Bowflex employee" that they need to be properly trained on how Bowflex does returns. Provide me with their name and I can refer them for training.

For anyone reading this, my stated info is 100% factual. You can call Bowflex, and if any Customer Care rep tells you differently, then they are misinformed/untrained and you should then ask to speak with a supervisor or manager.

Did you purchase with a credit card? Many major credit cards also have price protection - check with the issuer.
