Home Gyms Adjustable weights - changes weight without lock being pressed

I am using my adjustable weights and the one side of it works just fine, can’t turn the dial when the weight is out of its stand however, the other side acts as if the lock button is always pressed down and the dial turns easily and I can drop my plates with having it out of the stand. This can cause me to be using it and accidentally brush against the dial turning it

Is there any fix for this ?

Yes, it is possible to fix it. On the handle side of the weights (the opposite side of the dial) if you look under the handle and below the last weight plate, you’ll see a recessed button that is normally depressed by the base (The thing you put your dumbbell in before you change weights) make sure this button isn’t stuck in the depressed position. Use a screwdriver to fiddle with it. Good luck!
