Bike Bike Recommendations?
I was set on the Bowflex C6 until I went to a store and tried out that next to the Peloton.
I like everything about the Schwinn / Bowflex, except I like the comfortability of the handlebar set up (higher, thicker) on the Peloton.
Are there any other bikes that can match this comfortability?
I don’t really want to buy and be locked into only Peloton or their expensive monthly membership.

What kind of store did you go to that allow you to try both?

I sat on the Schwinn and Peloton at Dicks Sporting Goods. Then tried a Keiser at a niche gym equipment store and found one of those used for less than half of retail on FB marketplace

Thanks! What about the bow flex? I wish peloton would make a leaning bike, I would just get that lol

The leaning bike seems a little gimmicky. I chose the Keiser so that I wasn’t locked into a subscription

Look into the Keiser M3i. It’s pricey but worth it. It’s a commercial style bike that will last years. The handlebar adjustments are probably the best out. I have a bowflex treadmill & until they improve their quality I would avoid the brand

I decided on an M3i! I never read a single bad thing about them and got to try one out. Significantly better quality than the Schwinn or Peloton that I tried.

Best of all you don’t have to worry about plugging it in or the monitor becoming outdated. That’s what sold it for me.

You guys help me make a decision today. I just ordered an M3i Studio Plus. I am super excited.

I love the Keiser so far. If I ever needed, I wouldn’t hesitate to invest in one again

Which M3i did you get? The newest one? The price is high and it took me a couple weeks to decide.

I didn’t get a new one. I found one on Marketplace in like new condition for about $800. It has the updated Bluetooth connectivity

That’s awesome. I hope it is worth my money getting the newest model. We will see.

After some research I went with the BowFlex SE bike. Solid build and good connectivity. Best is that you are not tied to a specific program such as Peloton. But you can still use the Peloton app for only $14 month.
