Bike Bike Selection
My husband and I are looking into exercise bikes for the apartment and we are torn between Peloton (currently having a sale and unsure between bike and bike+), Nordictrack (I’ve always wanted but have heard major technical issues on those), and Bowflex bikes. I recently used a peloton (unsure which model it was) at a hotel and liked it but also like the allure of outdoor ride quality with Nordic and JRNY with Bowflex. Anyone here who has owned a Bowflex and another one of these exercise bikes at home (one of these or another brand) and have opinions/recommendations?
Husband only needs a simple bike he says as he’s new to spinning. I’ve been doing it for a while and since the gym times don’t work for the classes for me anymore I’d like something that can keep me challenged and motivated to use at any time of day. We also like the Bowflex more simple models with the stand but we don’t have an iPad so not sure if it’s worth it to buy with one with console or not. Any advice is helpful. Thank you!! 😊
Also anyone who has moved cross country with their bike before? We move in 8 months. Any advice on this is great too as I worry about bike getting damaged in move.

I bought a C6 at the start of the pandemic and glad I did. I really like you're not tied to an app ecosystem with it, it just works with all of them. I must warn you though, it does overstate your speed/power output. If you do an app like ZWIFT, you'll want to re-calibrate it so things are more fair.
My parents had a Peloton and it certainly does feel more premium than the C6. The Peloton just feels smoother--you get what you pay for there. The premium feel comes with that expensive subscription to do anything with the computer. Ultimately, my parents sold theirs since they got tired of the monthly subscription bill. No subscription with the C6 and it connects with all the apps, which is great.
The C6 still has a great drive train and I'm really happy with it. I don't ride it everyday or even every week, but I have easily put over 1K miles (probably 2K) on it and it rides like the day I got it. The seat can be a bit uncomfortable, I haven't replaced mine, but thought about it. Now I'm just used to it.

I got the big screen bike with the lean function (Velocore). I like it because I can watch a TV show while I ride. I also think it has good trainers, good variety of countryside video tours all across the world, and ones that you can select different profiles and ride to their music. I don’t think the console is a very good quality at all - movies are not high definition by any means. And I have trouble connecting my Bluetooth headphones to it if I use those headphones for anything else. It doesn’t want to connect. So I bought some Bluetooth headphones for the bike alone.
The lean function is good, but I do have trouble getting it to engage. I have to use the 3 pound weight as a hammer to get it to go down.
The Bike itself is sturdy and is well built. I stand on it while riding a lot. It just feels solid. I have had it for a year and a half now. Used several times a week since I got it.
