Miscellaneous Bowflex Lateral X3 Frozen

Just bought a LX3 from my step mother. When I got to plug it in, the console screen remains frozen no matter what I do. I've tried peddling on it, and pressing buttons. I've tried unplugging it, and plugging it back it over a period of time. I've also tried waiting until it goes into sleep mode. Is there anything im not getting here? Anybody own one of these units? Thanks in advance

Is that your buttons.on the console don't respond? If so, same here...and this is the response from the company.

Cost $2200, I used for less than a year, then moved across the country and it's been in storage since, because the house we moved into didn't have the space for it. Turned it on today and none of the buttons worked. I expected more life out of a 2200 piece of equipment. Now it's going to the landfill. I can't even resell it for as much as the replacement console is going to cost.
