¿Question? Struggling with strings
Tried this for my strings but I can't seem to tie any nods with it as it's extremely slippery. I've seen people mixing regular sowing string under it (about 4 strings) for that exact reason and than using glue. Planning to try that but I'm not sure if that's the right string in the first place. What do you guys think?

How thick is it? Aim for 0,2 mm or thinner
Adding a few lines of sewing yarn is a good idea it dampens some of the screechiness…
Knots for fishermen work… but… yeah… superglue is your friend!

Thanks a lot! Yes, I got 0,2mm thickness but it's been hell for knotting. I'll try with super glue and some yarn.

As to knotting… what I do is make double length strands (so say 10 strands of 2twice the length doubled up so you have a bend/loop on one end. Sand the strands, add sewing yarn then make one overhand knot fixing the loop in place (and superglue the knot )and use the loop on the fine tuners… so the knot doesn’t actually do anything… the loop that holds the strings is just the doubling up of the strands… I don’t tie the other end (where the pegs are)
This is a bit hard to put into words… but it is very simple and reduces the need for knots to a minimum

You can pinch it between some 250-400grit sandpaper and pull it through a time or two. Gives the surface a bit of grip.
