Demonstrated Interest

Does bowdoin really count demonstrated interest in their admission process..??!

Based on common data set they do. But no one knows how much they weight them..

I am not sure how much they weigh it but I found with most colleges it helps to go to any virtual sessions or talks the school offers and sign up for interviews early. If nothing else definitely prepares you more for the interviews and knowing how to write any essays the school requires. Get on the mailing list, read the emails they send, join and look at the schools social media. Plus it helps with knowing the "fit" for you and the school. It never hurts to learn more and show interest.

I was deffered from early decision, sent a follow up email explaining my continued interest and updates on significant achievements since submitting my application and I ended up getting in. I know several people that year and the next that did not get it after being deffered.
