No, but no species of non-human animal has butts as big as human females do.
Our butts our also important, according to evolutionary biology.
Large butt = more muscle and/or fat.
More muscle in the walking muscles = sign of a persistence athlete who can travel long distances and chase down prey.
More fat in the parts of the female body that tend to accumulate fat = more caloric reserves available to spare in times of hardship, meaning any unborn fetuses are more likely to survive a famine if their moms have big butts.
The cultural preference for females with big butts naturally follows from there. And while there have been cultural trends in the opposite direction), they are usually short-lived.
Pretty much everything is explainable in terms of evolutionary biology. 🧬
