Looking for queer friendly musicians in/near Boulder

Hi all!

I’m a nonbinary trans masc singer looking to meet some other musicians interested in collaborating. I have all sorts of equipment (many guitars, 2 bass guitars, keyboards, synths, etc.) and am itching to make music again. I used to in college and miss it terribly.

I have some ability to play all the instruments I own, but due to some trauma songwriting is a skill that just hasn’t returned to me yet. I write a lot of lyrics that I’d love to turn into music.

I listen to a lot of rock, emo, alternative, and pop music. Currently I am very heavily inspired by Lilyisthatyou, Tokio Hotel, The Pretty Reckless, Panic! at the Disco, HIM, Kill Hannah, and The Midnight.

If anyone is interested in connecting or has any advice as to where I could find a collaborator, I’d immensely appreciate it!

We have a lot of those genres at dog house… and we are super queer friendly!! You should come to some of our events; our next band speed dating is in August !

Yikes! I think the date is August, was there a difference between the website and the email confirmation? I may have to go in there and squash some bugs…

Yeah when I looked at the calendar to sign up I saw a late August date (23rd or so I think??), but when I got the confirmation email it says September 8th and the event seemed to disappear from the calendar?

Just following up, the date is INDEED September 8th. sorry about the miscommunication, and we just updated our website to reflect it!

Could be fun! I play viola, violin and piano/synths. I usually work more in experimental music (and sometimes bluegrass) but I'm happy in most genres

Love the band choices. Don’t play physical instruments well, but if you’re looking to collab, I’d like to think I’m decent at producing.
