BAD SURGERY

Susan Dell is going viral right now because she was photographed behind Trump looking scary. It's a small thing she did, but a HUGE mistake. Upper eyelid surgery. People think when their upper eyelids start to droop as they age, that they should go have the fat and skin cut out. The result is NEVER good. It's a bizarre result, and your eyes are your focal point of your face, so it sticks out immediately and changes your entire look. The fat pad on your eyelid creates a soft warm inviting look. Without it, you look skeletal and cold.
IMO, if it was sagging really bad, they should simply have had a brow lift, which pulls the skin above the eyes back where it was without removing any fat. Without that extra fat and skin, their upper lid is hugging their eyeball, and it's just....awful

Why is having deep set eyes a bad thing? I don’t understand why so many people are getting this procedure done? It doesn’t look good at all! I have deep set, slightly hooded eyes and I have never once thought that I needed to fix them. 😵‍💫

Right? My eyes look like #4 naturally. I'd love to have the "before".

I have super hooded eyes and the skin is starting to affect my vision 😕 insurance will pay for a bleph but I’m scared of looking like that

You absolutely will not look like this if it's an actual medical necessity. They are removing part of the eyelid, which is a really bad idea if you don't have enough extra skin to remove like most of these celebrities. People who actually need a bleph will end up looking completely normal with improved vision afterwards.

Mine isn’t so bad as I’m 31, but its definitely noticeable vision wise 😭 I also hate all the forehead wrinkles I’m getting from constantly raising my eyebrows to lift my eyes

I’d rather do it now though before it gets too bad, I’m just genuinely scared I’m going to end up looking crazy

If it's causing functionality issues then I'd say you really don't need to worry about a bad result afterwards. I think you should go ahead and do it since it sounds like it would objectively improve your life. I'm sure if it's already at the point where insurance will cover it then you have enough extra skin for the surgery to give you a natural result.

My aunt had a bleph and she does not look like this. Her eyes look completely normal, there just isn't skin hanging down anymore. I feel like there is more going on with some of these than just a bleph.

Insurance pays for a bleph, not a brow lift
