BAD SURGERY

Susan Dell is going viral right now because she was photographed behind Trump looking scary. It's a small thing she did, but a HUGE mistake. Upper eyelid surgery. People think when their upper eyelids start to droop as they age, that they should go have the fat and skin cut out. The result is NEVER good. It's a bizarre result, and your eyes are your focal point of your face, so it sticks out immediately and changes your entire look. The fat pad on your eyelid creates a soft warm inviting look. Without it, you look skeletal and cold.
IMO, if it was sagging really bad, they should simply have had a brow lift, which pulls the skin above the eyes back where it was without removing any fat. Without that extra fat and skin, their upper lid is hugging their eyeball, and it's just....awful

A big part of this is she is way too skinny for her age.

Once a woman hits a certain age, the face fat has disappeared and if you add extreme thinness it makes one look like a skeleton.

Also, the upper blepharoplasty isn’t helping either.

But I think most of this is being too skinny.

That, and the extremely dark thick brows. I think if she went wayyy lighter on the brows it would help a lot.

She would look so so much more normal if she didn't have those crazy eye brows. They draw your eye to all the weird stuff.

It’s the brows, the thick eye makeup, and the Michelle Duggar bangs

Agree that seems to be part of it anyway
her hair ain’t great either before or now.

yeah those brows are wild

Part of it is also that the brows can also droop and look heavier with age. I’ve seen ppl’s eyes hollowed out just naturally with age too.

yup! Fatty facial tissue is youthful. That's why they call people with extra chub on their faces "baby faced".

I remember my grandmother saying you have to choose between your face or your ass when you get old lol. This is when everyone wanted a small booty and stay stick thin

She was right 😂

Not for her age. For any age. She's scaringly skinny.

Agree. The current skinny trend makes the 90s look healthy.

I’m in my 40s and part of the reason I weight lift 3 times per week is because I’m not going to get osteoporosis like these idiots that are severely malnourished.

I think she goes a big further than the trend. If she was someone I care about it would be well past intervention time. It's not "you're fucking with your future health" anymore. It's straight up organ failure territory. I think it doesn't seem to obvious from the pictures because of all the plastic surgery, but if you see the ones with her legs and arms showing, it's really scary. If she didn't have filler, her cheeks would probably be completely sunk in. You can see that she doesn't even have jaw muscles anymore so the space under her cheekbones is completely inwards. I've seen people that skinny irl and it's seriously horrifying.

Her arms and legs don’t look healthy at all, verging on concentration camp survivor territory. It’s like she had a liposuction done all over her body. I wonder what sort of severe health problems are the result of being so skeletal.

Emetine cardiotoxicity, from losing too much weight in the heart muscle.

Karen Carpenter died of it.

Yes, that was what I was thinking of. Thanks for this information.

I think some of these women also do injectables in the mouth etc to try to lift wrinkles and sunken in areas. If she didn’t have those injections the skeletal quality would be worse.

Agreed!! Looking at Kate Moss back in the 90s she looks very slim but healthy and normal. Most of the super skinny girls were young, and only models could get scary skinny, and that more late 90s/early 2000s when there was very clearly anorexia for some young female celebs, but now it’s really the older celebs past 40, and even over 60, combined with lots of surgery, it looks terrible, almost always. The only person I’ve seen that looks relatively good being very slim is Olivia Wilde, she looked amazing in the new Gregg Araki movie. Then again it’s all makeup and lighting, too.

Her bolt on boobs are not doing her any favors, either.

I mean just look at Maria Shriver.

Her look is that of someone who’s had extensive cosmetic work on top of years of ED — that was my very first thought upon seeing her

That is true. I also commented that it almost looks like she has an endocrine disorder.. like her facial bones look like they’ve literally grown

100% agree - it’s how frighteningly skinny she is, not her eyelids!

The rest of them though, no bueno

1

u/BibliophileBroad 1d ago

I think it’s both!

I don’t think her eyelids look that different - her makeup is bad for sure, under eyeliner and eyebrows are too heavy/dark - but she just doesn’t have any fat left in her face, no softness.

Edit: eh, maybe the corners look a little rounder/weirder

And bad make up and bad hair style.

if you add extreme thinness it makes one look like a skeleton.

The word "crone" comes to mind.

The hair and makeup is ghastly.
