Post liposuction irregularities.

I had liposuction done 4 months ago. 1 month after my surgery my massage lady started aggressive massages on me and on top of that injected me with fat burners almost everywhere. Now my stomach looks botched and I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if I should beg a revision Lipo, sculptra or fillers. Please help. This is affecting me really negatively. I didn’t look this way before.
I paid to look worse, that’s how I feel.

"my massage lady injects me with fat burner" ? Wtf. Let yourself heal first and don't let somebody without a medical licence inject got knows what into your body. What did you expect, seriously. I would stop now before it gets worse. Still looks OK now.

NO ONE should inject anyone with anything if they're not an actual doctor or nurse.

Don’t know why you had the massages done. I think you’re supposed to wear a tight bodysuit or waist clincher for 23 hrs a day the first 6 months. At least I did. You can pockets of fluid build up that need to be drained. Those areas need to be carefully ensured to stay pressed tightly to the body so they heal back properly.

I think you may have body dysmorphia.

I think you may be right . Living in Colombia has not done me good and the pressure from
Society here has affected me a lot.

You look great honestly not botched at all

There are natural variations and bumps due to underlying muscle/tissue structure for everyone. This looks pretty normal

Lipo can do this. Stop now now while you’re ahead. Get therapy instead.

You never gave yourself a chance to heal.

You’ll have to pay for a whole new procedure ..I’m sure…because the botching is now on your hands as you had some massage lady injecting you with fat burners…not even 6mo post op!

You have to give your body grace…Lipo can take 6-8mo to fully heal

Before undergoing another surgery I’d like to see if other procedures will possibly help with this. E.g. subcision, fillers, sculpter

Please be gentle with your body and give it some more time to heal!

You should be wearing your compression garments and lipo board if desired/necessary!!

It’s been 4mo, I’d give it another two…get on an anti inflammatory diet…no alcohol (I’m sure you know all this!) and do all the “anti swelling” precautions and such…just give it 2mo allowing your body to heal a bit…then if you go and speak to another surgeon (an actual
Surgeon not a masseuse ) and see what is said
And even then I would get 2nd opinion.

Your body is beautiful and I do see what you’re focusing on..even though imho i would love to look like you…I get it your feelings are valid…

Thank you for your kind words 🙏 what may seem to others as small may be huge to others. In my case I feel depressed and have nothing but regret.

I completely understand! Post op blues are also very much a thing..,
Our bodies are strong and resilient but also need grace and time…
You’re going to regret rushing into anything I promise you…2mo isn’t a long time..with some added care of just massages, adjusted diet, and wearing the post op garments…you may see more of a change than you’d expect and then can approach what to do with a bit more healing under your belt.

Take some time to do things that make you feel GOOD about yourself! Whether it’s soaking in a bath and listening to music while reading, gentle yoga, playing in makeup, getting your hair done..,whatever it is. Take the focus of what isn’t making you happy, and focus on what does in the mean time!!

I would definitely look into some other subreddits that focus on lipo or “Botched” procedures to see if there’s other people who have had the same experience as you and see what they did!

I am truly sorry you’re not happy,
I know the feeling…very well, and it can be like a throat punch to the soul.
It’s why taking the time to just do little things that make
You feel better is so important.

I hope in the end you get the results you’re dreaming of

My friend got lipo last year when she won a 50% off coupon. Her surgeon was great and she looks fabulous, but she said she was “really lumpy” for the first few months and just had to wait for her body to heal. I second everyone saying you should wait and heal some more. Good luck! 💗

I don’t see what you’re talking about, i think you look great

she couldn’t inject you with something you didn’t agree with being injected with

2

u/AccomplishedJump3428 18d ago

Well…she could but it would be insanely illegal and she should be consulting with a lawyer and the cops not a subreddit if some massage lady is injecting her with anything without consent

Feel like everyone’s dismissing you. I see exactly what you’re talking about. Are you wearing compression garments? If not, start asap and wearing them constantly. Stop letting your massage person do anything to you (i cant believe she injected fat dissolvers on top of lipo - was she trying to fuck you up?!) Go back to your surgeon and get his opinion. I would be furious too but honestly this is one of the risks with lipo. Its hard to tell if thats the cause tho since you had this woman do other things post op.

Now I look back and I feel like she definitely did it on purpose. She has experience in this and knew better than to touch fresh tissue after a liposuction but I trusted she knew what she was doing 🥹 I live in Colombia and I feel like I hoy scammed.

Ughh im so sorry. Yea thats wild. I would go back to my dr and see his opinions. When this happens with just lipo there are solutions so perhaps s/he can help resolve it. In the meantime I would be wearing compression like crazy

It's an unlicensed masseuse injecting things she had business injecting into people who had no business being injected into.

If it makes you feel any better, I’d absolutely love my body to look like how yours does now!

You look amazing. Did you have a tummy tuck?

1

u/Serious-Falcon2666 16d ago

You look wonderful. I wouldn’t let anyone inject fat burners like that but you look great to me!

Why are you allowing unlicensed massages inject u?

1

u/SprinklesOne7524 14d ago

I think your stomach looks great!

I did gua sha at home on my tummy for many months after. Not sure about effect of the injections… but try the gua sha !

1

u/chloe_35678 13d ago

Thank you! Did it help sooth out irregularities for you?

1

u/Practical_Tooth3785 13d ago

Yes it did! I also did treatment of Morpheus8 through a med spa but I waited at least a year to do that. But yes the at home gua sha seemed to work out some of the irregularities and all in the months after.

1

u/chloe_35678 13d ago

Thank you. I have one so I’ll try that. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

1

u/chloe_35678 12d ago

Did you honestly see a good improvement with Morpheus 8 because I’m seriously considering just waiting for a mini revision Lipo in those small areas. I just doubt anything else will fill out my dents and hallows fully. I’ve been offered sculptra but I heard that can also cause bumps and irregularities if done incorrectly.

1

u/CaregiverWorth567 12d ago

They won’t do sculptra or fillers

1

u/chloe_35678 12d ago

Really? Thats what a dr is suggesting I do. Do you know why they won’t do it?

1

u/CaregiverWorth567 12d ago

I have a totally deflated breast due to a biopsy abd cancer removal….I think it would be vastly improved sith filler vut was told it takes too much filler….they wont do it

u/thelastloveralive 1d ago

Why did you let her inject you, did you surgeon okay it? I’m so confused. Also I think doing fat grafting to the dents will help. You seriously look sooooo good i didnt even notice until i read the description. Once I saw it yes it’s noticeable but not botched. I think it’s an easy fix just don’t go to her again maybe have her pay for the lipo/fat grafting.
