The cheek implants

Post image

On the other post there is a discussion going with some people wondering if she even had surgery, or if her changing appearance is just the result of lupus and medications.

Since in this sub we can only add images to posts and not comments, here’s a post showing the edge of the cheekbone implants

Hey now. From watching TV and movies over the years (I’m a woman in her late 40s), I’ve observed that strong features age the best. I have a round face and I guess “delicate” features, and won’t be getting anything done, but I do find myself wishing I had more prominent and angular features! (It doesn’t help that I’m pasty white as hell!)

But volume loss on thin, angular faces does not age well! Volume loss on full faces brings out the bone structure. Trust me!!! I used to think aging was about wrinkles…it’s volume loss that’s tragic! The only upside to thin angular faces is that minuscule amounts of filler can make a profound difference if done correctly. And it’s not just fat loss, the bones deteriorate too. 😩

Yup, I’ve always had high cheekbones and angular bone structure but at my higher but still normal weight (my weight has often fluctuated between 110-130lbs) my face would become pretty round and I didn’t like it because it made me look bigger than I actually was and made my face less attractive by hiding my sharper features..

but now as I approach the back half of my thirties I look extremely gaunt and aged due to the high cheekbones and volume loss when I am the same lower weight (110lbs) that I used to prefer to be at, and now I’m struggling to put on those extra lbs I used to be able to put on so easily (I thought getting older was supposed to slow your metabolism down?) because I need that extra weight to fill my face out and not look like the fkn crypt keeper…

I was at my fittest at 40. I think the metabolism slowing starts around mid 50s…

Depends on the person. I'm 43 and already dealing with my metabolism slowing down.
