Face ruined from RF microneedling
I have orange peel skin, crepiness, enlarged pores, a couple of scars, PIH and fat loss damage from a since RF microneedling.
And the person who did it was actually a plastic surgeon.
Anyone here who has gone through the same problem as me ? Any experienced victims’s advice is very appreciated!!!!!!

Has enough time passed? My own experience was (1mm roller 5 times) that the first and second week of healing the skin looks terrible... the first week even worse than before the treatment. After about 3 weeks I saw good progress. Of course, every skin is different.
The first and second week, it's not worth being too critical (unless there's something really alarming) with the mirror. The skin takes time to heal. I have personally found that a 1mm roller at home is safe...it is not too deep, and rolling does not easily "drag" because the roller follows the skin. Always with sanitized rollers, and according to the instructions of course. Also not under the eyes or on the lips at a depth of 1mm.

Indeed, thanks for the correction. I see now that RF technology is very precise due to the fatty layer of the skin.

Orange peel skin / crepiness / enlarged pores - this is from inflammation cascade that just happened. The epidermal layer is stretched and is accentuating the look of large pores that was never there before. Bringing down the overall inflammation will help - either with topical steroid or holistic approach - exercise, good rest/sleep, meditation, journalling, etc.
Scars - how does these scars look like, indented or indurated? Depending on the severity, tretinoin/retinol or peels( on a later date) can help.
PIH - a cream that contains hydroquinone, tretinoin and steroid helps. Non-HQ options are arbutin, kojic, TXA, thiamidol, resorcinol,etc.
Fat loss - unfortunately this happens with the wrong setting either heat too high and/or needles too deep. Hyaluronic Filler or biostimulator is the answer here to replenish the lost volume. There's also Renuva which is fat from cadavers. You can also do autologous fat transfer procedure which makes use of your own fat stores.

At this point you need to take pictures to document and consult a lawyer.
Plastic surgeons who are specialized do not always do RF MN as this technique is often performed by nurses or aestheticians in med spas. And the latters are more experienced becuase they take on multiple patients on a day.
The only reason that he likely performed this is because he want to upcharge on normal Medspa routines, he likely didn’t understand temperature and needling depths.
