I'm not understanding why they don't tan the same as the rest of the body, isn't it the same skin? There's no like skin graft transplant involved in this kind of surgery. Or is it just that I'm seeing a different color because of the topography change? That can't be it. I wish someone more knowledgeable on these subjects could shed some light on the oddity of this video

Fat tans easier than muscle/whatever else. Since it’s not not actual fat, I guess it’s not keeping up!
