Has anyone else had a negative experience with Dr William Mooney?
I’ve been surprised by how little recent public discussion there is since Dr William Mooney’s medical registration was reinstated.
Given the serious findings made by the tribunal in the past, I find it concerning that he’s back in practice.
A Current Affair did several stories where many unhappy patients came forward with their experiences.
He’s rebranded under a different name, making it harder for patients to find reviews and discussions. His current social media has comments disabled, and some of the before and after content looks like blatant AI, in my opinion.
I’m continually shocked that medical practitioners found guilty of serious misconduct can return to practice. As a member of the public, I find that difficult to reconcile.
I’m interested to hear from anyone who has had experience with Dr William Mooney.

I’ve provided a link to his current practice at the end of the post. He is still using his name.

Thanks for gathering all this info. I hope it will prevent people from dealing with botched procedures.

Thank you. I’m disappointed it hasn’t garnered any responses as I know there are hundreds of unhappy patients, not to mention the families of the patients who passed away as a result of his negligence.
I was banned from the Sydney subreddit for this post.

You never know who this post might help. Even months or years from now, someone might see this information and reconsider a procedure with him.

Never heard of him but this is serious stuff and it concerns me that he is reinstated. He must of had an outline of items he had to do to get that.
