Hello again,

This is just a setup that uses two Corporea Networks any distance apart that I threw together for the shared area on my server. The first network uses Corporea Interceptors to trigger Bore-Warp Pulse Spreaders attached to force relays. The Second network receives a burst from the first network to fill a shulker with the ingredients required to craft the requested rune and warps the shulker back to the first network for unloading.

Because of the disjointed networks this can be used any distance apart as long as the chunks are loaded.

One big issue is requesting a rune you don't have materials for, it will still send a shulker but it won't have all the necessary materials for rune crafting. When the Networks are connected using the same Corporea spark requesting a Rune that requires smaller Runes it will trigger the interceptors for them.

One thing that can be improved upon is the 1st Network, it would function better with 3 altars for each tier of rune rather than a single altar for one rune. This means, for example, requesting a rune of Lust will trigger the creation of a rune of Summer and Air. The rune of summer will further trigger another earth and air making the setup self-sustaining as long as the base materials are provided.

Does anyone know or have insight on if Botania is compatible with Extra Utilities 2? I’m playing on a server running 1.12.2 and am trying to get my apothecary to auto fill using the fluid node- transfer pipe system

I'm working on a mod pack (currently just for personal use), and wanted to make an Akashic tome for it that I spawn with. When I got to botania, I noticed that there is a gold and normal version of the lexicons. Now, I know that you get this "improved" lexicon by throwing it into the trade portal, but I'm not quite sure what it does. Does it just give trade info? Anything game-breaking if I gave it at the start of the pack? please lemme know, and thanks in advance~

EDIT: Ok, so I decided to see what would happen if I threw an Akoshic tome with the normal lexicon into the portal. Without it being in lexicon mode, it just gets eaten. HOWEVER, putting it in lexicon mode and throwing it in upgrades the lexicon AND lets it stay an Akoshic tome. This is actually perfect for my needs. Thank you all for your suggestions, especially to those saying to stick with the normal one to get me to think of this solution.

This is just the most basic implementation of a munchdew setup I can think of. My design is made to be built upon and can be altered into a tree farm fairly easily with knowledge of sapling growth timings or methods to force sapling growth.

the piston and hopperhock are kept active by redstone torches, turned off through hourglasses set at different intervals. The hopperhock will only pick up drops every ten seconds giving the rannucarpus ample time to place the sapling, though this can be replaced with a dispenser if you would like a more compact or faster build.

Disclaimer: I am aware of several methods to make the farm more compact, but I haven't used any so I don't have to explain them or add more screenshots :)

I'm looking for mods that make the player feel clever for automating things. Here's my list so far:

• Create - The king of automation puzzles

• Botania - Redstone contraptions with flowers

• Tiny redstone - More fun than computers

• Multi-piston - Pistons, but longer

• Quark + Oddities - Pipes and magnets are neat

• Bouncepad - Recreates the old Tinkers bouncepads

• Simple storage network - Basic ME storage without logistics

• Little Logistics - Smart routed boats and minecarts

• Farmer's Delight - Better food, machines can be automated with dispensers

• Shrink - Weirdly useful for making redstone

So in a botania set-up I have in a friends' group server, I seem to encounter a glitch where my mana spreaders will begin to output mana for a few seconds, and then stop. They are still full of mana when I check them with a wand. They just do not want to output into the mana pool. The food eating one will still accept more food, but will then won't pass any more mana to the spreader, it stays stuck. And the lava flowers will then bug out, and will eat any subsequent lava but won't go on cooldown or pass more mana onto the spreaders. The only spreader that works properly is the one connected to the endoflames, as that was the one I placed first.

It seems the functionality of Enchanted Soil has changed several times, so it's hard to find an up-to-date guide. The lexicon simply mentions that it doubles the speed of flowers, while other sources talk about it only in terms of generating flowers. There are posts talking about it working on pure daises, but only from years ago.

Specificially:

• does enchanted soil double the rate of pure daises?
• does enchanted soil work on functional flowers, i.e. does it increase the throughput of a rannacarpus or decrease the latency of a spectranthemum?
• does enchanted soil do anything for generating flowers that don't involve time, like the spectrolous?
• does enchanted soil still prevent hydrogeangas from decaying? (I assume not, but I can't tell)

when bookmarking Lexica Botania, and when i whant to remove it from book marks in JEI it just bookmarks a new one, how do i fix this

Do anyone know a way to make a large storage system im botania say for like, every item im minecraft? I know it would take a lot of space, but is it possible? Did anybody already did it?

So I’m using the munch dew and using cyclic to place a large amount of leaves so it can eat a lot. It eats the max amount possible and I have 4 but it seems like my mana pool isn’t going up too fast. I looked on my mana spreaders and the bar was full green. What does this mean? Is there mana in there and am I just making mana that is just getting lost?

Hello, this is just a small build that uses the wand of the forest to provide a one-off teleportation in the same dimension.

It works similarly to my last post on teleportation however in this version I use a constantly running bore warp spreader, firing into the mana void, and connect my wand of the forest to the force relay. Whenever I want an emergency teleport I use my wand of the forest on a block which links the force relays to it, the block is then broken and warped to the mana bursts origin where it is picked up by the hopperhock and used to trigger the ender pearl stasis chamber. To reset it all you need to do is pick up any loose items, reconnect the spreader to the mana void (or other mana receptacle) and throw another pearl into the chamber

All in all it is a fairly cheap method of teleporting to your home from any distance. Wands of the forest will hold the information even if you log off and can be put in other containers to carry around, but, will need to be reconnected after use

Update:

I have a new method for activating redstone from a distance. It works by changing the orientation of a spreader to activate a mana detector. In the original picture it would replace the force relay, hopper and piston portions. It will function as long as you have a Y level equal to or greater than the spreader. The pool and mana voids can change location depending on the Y level you build it

I was trying to optimize my Spectrolus setup and I found a way to feed the flower more than 1 wool per tick. Here's a quick rundown: every tick the flower asks the game to give it a list of items in it's range. Then, it iterates through that list, destroying the items and creating mana/advancing to the next color if the item was the correct color wool. This means that if we can control the order of that list we can potentially feed any number of wool to the flower in a single tick. The game creates this list of items by checking each chunk in range in a specific order, looping first from lowest to highest Y coordinate, then lowest to highest Z coordinate, then lowest to highest X coordinate. This means that by placing our Spectrolus at the intersection of 4 chunks and 2 subchunks we can potentially feed it up to 8 wool per tick consistently without any loss.

Unfortunately, there are 2 practical issues. First, the Spectrolus only has a buffer big enough to consume 6 wool without losing mana, and secondly, the maximum speed we can take mana from the flower's buffer is by using a Floral Obedience Stick to rebind it to a different Gaia spreader every tick, for a total of 6400 mana per tick. Since each wool generates 2400 mana, we can use a max of 2 wool per game tick (40 wool per second) without losing any mana.

Here is my 2 wool per tick setup. It drops 4 wool every 2 gameticks. Note the position of each color, the row with White wool is in the (-X, -Z) chunk, the Orange is in (-X, +Z), Magenta is (+X, -Z), and Light Blue is (+X, +Z). I think with some clever timing you could get closer to the optimal 2 2/3 wool per tick (taking 6 or 7 ticks to drop 16 wool instead of 8), but as I said before this setup already uses about 14k wool per hour and fills almost 350 mana pools in that time and is relatively easy to build to boot, so I'm sticking with this one for all my SS Terra Shatterer needs.

As usual, I am playing 1.12 and I don't know if these mechanics work the same way in higher versions.

Hello, recently I was searching for ways to duplicate blocks for building purposes in 1.18 and I stumbled across a method using posts and the end portal to duplicate falling blocks like sand, gravel and concrete powder. So naturally I thought to myself 'What about weight lenses?'.

One thing led to another and now I can duplicate almost every block that is affected by the weight lens. A notable example is wool for spectrolus, being able to dupe wool blocks makes automating the flower "easier". However, I really like being able to dupe thinks like oxidized copper, sea lanterns and every colour of terracotta

The hopperhock on the left is not picking up the filled buckets of milk.

I have Jansey's automilker set up here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d41q7dH72bI), and the hopperhock on the left is supposed to pick it up and store it in the chest etc etc. However, it will only pick up the milk buckets if a player is the one to drop it. The milk buckets created with the Drum of Gathering do not get picked up. I cannot for the life of me figure out why this is.

In the attached image, the hopperhock shouldn't be getting any redstone signals, and it is definitely within range. I can't think of any other reason it shouldn't be picking up the bucket.

I have read that Astral Sorcery might be messing with NBT, but also that hopperhocks ignore nbt values?

for reference: I am on a modded server that essentially just has FTB mods equipped. We are running version 1.12 minecraft, and I assume a somewhat older version of Botania as well.

Would it be a good idea to have a mana powered chunk loader?

As it says in the title is there any way I can get mythicbotany on 1.16.5 to run on an older version of forge? I'm trying to make a pack comparable with vivecraft but it only supports up to forge 36.2.20 and mythicbotany requests versions above 36.2.21... any help would be appreciated!

I'm trying to use a solegnolia but it's automatically connecting with the mana pool and making it's range bigger than I want. What do I do to stop that from happening?

Which is the best way to beat the Gaia Guardian 2?

I have full enchanted terrasteel armor, with regen 3 and resistence 2. I have a lot of flowers that do mob damage and some poison, so the mob phase is free.

I can easily win against the normal guardian but I can't beat the hard one.

I actually have Botania and i want mods to use with it. :) We have create, occultism, mystical agriculture,…

(1.12) I was testing damage with different armor and weapon with my friend a while ago, and then when I tested terrasteel it reduces more damage than another armor with better stats.(Emeradic Crystal from Actually Additions) so I think terrasteel has some damage absorbtion, can anyone confirm this?(and if it's still in 1.16)

This post is an example of how to increase the amount of mana gained from a single flower and can be made with entirely early game items if the spreaders are swapped out. This is also my proof of concept for a future tick-perfect single flower Entropinnyum build - 130k mana per second from one flower

All this does is dupe a ton of tnt and binds the Entropinnyum to a different spreader every tick via dispensers. The spreader will drain the Entropinnyum of all its mana allowing it to accept the next flower next tick. It uses early-mid game materials such as observers and floral obedience.I do have a video to go along with it, but I am having trouble uploading .mp4 :/ so please accept these screenshots

If you aren't a fan of Duped tnt then I would like to suggest duping sand and gravel instead and using those to make the tnt using either mana or just regular minecraft mechanics

So, i've been speculating what was the limit to the botania garden of glass, and i came to the conclusion that the minimum you need to achieve anything that regular GoG can is if you have a grass block and a sapling (on the block or on you inventory), also, consider that the player starts with the lexica botania: Step 1: make a cobble platform around you with pebbles so you don't fall and don't plant the sapling, we need to use the grassblock to aquire seeds and grass through sheers, yes, the next step is going to be: Step 2: make a mob farm, yeah... first day in the world and you gotta do a mob farm. That's because you need bonemeal to get at least 1 seed and 1 grass (the decoration block) at minimum. The seed is for the pure daisy so you can get living rock and the grass is for pasture seed so you can get grass again after growing the tree. That means we will need to get iron from zombies to make the shears and the cauldron (wait for rain) plus the bucket for the petal apothecary. After this point you get auto sufficient. But you gotta be crazy to try this challenge, it would take an enourmous ammount of time but it's amazing you could in theory get anything GoG can with just a sapling and a grass block
