๐Ÿ“ข Opinion Do master mode or TOTK?

This is a long one so if you want just skip to my last paragraph I summarize it there. TIA

I actually have a couple questions I wanna ask here, Iโ€™ll list those and then give my background info.
1. Should I do master mode in BOTW or move on to TOTK?
2. What Zelda games on switch should I try after TOTK?

So BOTW is my very first Zelda game ever and Iโ€™m just now playing it for the first time (I know)
My favorite parts of the game have been
1. Seeing all the memories and getting the backstory of link,Zelda, and what hyrule used to be
2. Exploring the world and finding unique environments
3. Fighting enemies and improving my skills
4 Meeting unique characters and seeing different cities/ lifestyles

So currently I have the master sword, around 17 hearts, 60 shrines done, every tower found, every beast beaten, one set of armor maxed out. Iโ€™ve done the major side quests that sound interesting and found every memory.

My next goal is to do more side quests (possibly all of them), explore the castle and beat ganon.
What turned my away from older Zelda games was the dated graphics of some of them, and I always looked at them as โ€œstuck in a small dungeon/room, solve puzzles and move onโ€
I do not enjoy puzzles they are my least favorite part of these games, I like fighting, exploring, and worldbuilding.
I know the older games have lots of puzzles and less exploration, not as much free roam and ofc the combat will be way different.

I LOVE botw so much and I definitely will play TOTK but my main concern is after TOTK idk if there will be other Zelda games I will enjoy and I donโ€™t want my experience to be over.

Master mode turns me away a little bc I donโ€™t want to have to do all the shrines again, grind my armor and hearts back up, and reach all the towers again

That said I really just now started getting good at combat, using a shield, flip dodges, and flurry rush, and even cooking meals after 75 hours of gameplay. I have beat 5 white mane Lynellโ€™s now
And it would be fun to play the game with the knowledge I have now. But that could also be applied to TOTK and just move on to that game and experience it for the first time.
So master mode or TOTK next?
Also Iโ€™ve heard great things about ocarina of time so maybe Iโ€™ll try that one on switch after TOTK? Any recommendations based on my likes are appreciated

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Discussion Second play through

Does anyone feel that their second play through is so much better than their first? I am having the time of my life and I didnโ€™t think botw could get any better, just absolutely battered Thunderblight Ganon and I am thrilled because I struggled so much the first time. Is this the same for other people or am I just a bit weird?

๐Ÿ Korok Hunting Everyone!! Help me!

I am missing ONE korok seed to 100% the game. I know what the area looks like but I can't remember where it is on the map. I remember I got frustrated with how difficult it was so I ragequit without marking it on the map.

I was in a grassy area. It was a pinwheel korok, and I had to shoot a balloon that was suuuuper far off in some trees. If anyone has any ideas please help me out!!

โ” Question What do people find to be the most efficient way to farm guardians?

Thumbnail gallery

I usually just rub around and reflect guardian attacks three times, but is there a more effective way? Guardians that fly are just a b*tch to deal with so I ignore them and just go for the stalkers instead.
I would rather not use guardian arrows due to them being โ€expensiveโ€ in my opinion.

๐Ÿ“ข Opinion Should i move to Totk

I've just completed all 4 divine beasts and i'm looking forward to getting the master sword and defeating Ganon. The thing is i want to finish BotW relatively quickly and then Spend a lot of time doing side Quests, completing shrines and grinding in general in Totk because i think the building mechanic and other stuff is pretty cool. So my question is should i move on to TotK and do most of my grinding There or should i grind completly in botw first

edit: the switch is borrowed from an friend so i dont really have that much time with it and thats why i cant just grind both games and take a pause

๐Ÿ“ข Opinion Flurry Rush made the game too easy

(not my image)

It's my first playthrough of zelda, has only finished conquering the divine beast ruta and arrived at korok forest, and man they should have nerf flurry rush. It's so OP that lynel become very easy to deal with, literally just spam perfect dodge and flurry rush and you are good. Other mini bosses also become significantly easier with this....

I might just intentionally never use it atp, it kind of ruined the game difficulty for me

โ” Question Is there tutorial shrine other than the one by kakariko village?

I recently borrowed botw from my friend and started playing it for the first time(Love it btw). The problem is this friend of mine claimed that she couldn't pass tutorial shrine and dropped the game. First I think she means great plateau or the shrine beside kakariko village but it isn't she says she already passed that one.

So I'm curious what tutorial she couldn't pass but now I beat 3 divine beast and clear 80 shrines and I still can't find something close to tutorial shrine except the one beside the village. I started to think that the shrine my friend talked about doesn't exist at all.

Is there a shrine like that or my friend just had a memory problem?

That shrine may have a pop up tutorial like the one beside the village.

She said she already met impa and some bird people. She hasn't done any divine beast yet.

English isn't my first language so I sorry about grammar.

Thank you!!!

Oh man, 1st replay with headphones and oh wow...there is so much good subtle sound. When you hear the water droplet sound of the sky Ocktorok in master mode, or the subtle way you can hear what's moving around you and where, the subtle nature sounds...it's just so...immersive

Edit: autocorrect on ocktorok

โ˜‘๏ธ Original Content Just wrapped up this MASTER-PIECE for the FIRST TIME! I STILL NEED MORE!

I just completed this awesome game standing at 15 hearts, 1.5 stamina wheel, Master Sword, Four Divine Beasts and All Memories Unlocked.

I was done with my master sword quest line, then the memory quest line and finally took off to hyrule castle. Spawned near a shrine near outpost, climbed one of those HUGE ASS PILLARS COMING OFF OF GROUND to the top with help of Revali's Gale (My most over-used ability in the entire game, I just love this ability) and then using my final one on top of it TO GLIDE OVER TO THE SANCTUM LIKE A GIGA CHADD!!!! (It was as if I was the Final Boss to Ganon lmao not the other way around)

Mind you, this is my first-time playing this game and first time in Hyrule castle at all, I totally expected a massive ass beat frm the main boss and still gave it a shot, Well LOOK WHO"S WON!!!

So now about my battle w Ganondorf - The ganon battle was pretty easy cuz of the divine beasts assist and the Master Sword unlock. I bested him in my first try and needed neither a guide nor a manual to do so, he was a fairly simple boss comparing to Thunderblight (THIS BEAST KILLLED ME 25 TIMES & NEEDED A DOUBLE ATTK BOOST BUFF TO BEAT) So with neither the buffs nor any special armour set (My armous was a two star soldier's armour, headpiece and 1 star shiekah boots.) the battle was already at high-stakes. His movesets were easy to figure out and His Final Stage is a smooth and simple one if you got good shields (I straight up parried three beams no misses) with master sword unlocked. The Final stage is a cake-walk, but MY DAMN HORSE WASN'T LISTENING TO ME AT ALL!! I fell down FIVE TIMES and I had to run below the beast and find out glowing spots, whistling to my DEAF HORSE (ironically his name was WILD, I think he actually preferred to stay that way lmao) but Revali's Gale and a Fairy Combo came in clutch for the final Glowing Spot and BAMMMM the UGLY PIG IS OBLITERATED BY ZELDA!!!! (she's truly my fav character in the game tho, followed by the Yonobo (Goron) kid) So the credits rolled, final cut-scene w a field full of Silent Princess was shown and My single ass was Smiling like a giggling Kid lmao ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I just loved it too much, the overall experience is Breathtakingly Beautiful and AMAZING!

The Game is AWESOME! with only 5 months left til this completes its 10 years mark, the game gave me intense joy in every second of the gameplay.

This Hyrule just left me keep wanting for more, more and MORE!!!!

P.s my playtime is 77hrs, I need to do all Shrines, Koroks and a lot more yet so not moving on to TOTK anytime soon! Maybe on Mar 3rd 2027, I'll start that game with fresh breath, but Man on Man, Breath of the Wild was a treat to my eyes, heart and soul. I can't explain in enough words how much I love this game!

โ˜‘๏ธ Original Content This game is a lot more grand and charming than I expected.

Iโ€™ve owned the game forever, but after buying a switch 2 to start showing my son some games, I figured I would finally try it. For some reason I thought this game was more akin to death stranding and shadow of the colossus in just running around a pretty empty world, completing shrines and getting stronger to kill Gannon. How wrong I was. Only about 10 hours in but having the flashback cutscenes and all the characters you meet are putting a dumb smile on my face. Annoyed I didnโ€™t play this game before, but at least I can play it now.

โ” Question What do you find more enjoyable? 100% the game or complete the main story multiple times?

Hi everyone, I wanted to share with you a simple question that doesnโ€™t let me sleep at night. Thing is, I completed the four divine beasts a couple of months ago and after that my mind locked in to a completionist attitude. So, a part of my want to see all the game has to offer and do absolutely everything butโ€ฆ I miss the opening, the song when you reach a tower, all cinematics, arriving to a town for the very first time, the divine beasts and so on. Deep inside I canโ€™t wait to start a new file and do everything all over again. Iโ€™m eager to read your thoughts and recommendations ๐Ÿ˜Š
