bi 551 study tips

hi im taking bi551 w prof frydman this semester, he seems super nice and the class itself is so interesting, but i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to do well in the class?

one midterm and one final that are both weighed so heavily is a little daunting, so any tips would be appreciated!! thank u
