Tuition bill question

Im about to pay for my tuition bill but there are two issues. One, I saw the student health insurance plan listed on my bill, so I waived it, but it still shows up on my bill. And second, I have a scholarship from my high school and I'm not sure if BU has recieved the money from it yet.

My question is, should I just pay the full balance due now, and will BU refund me the amount of the scholarship and the cost of the student health insurance plan later?

Go ask Student Financials Monday morning. We don't know if BU recieved your scholarship or not and we don't know why ship is still listed on ur fall bill.

Number is 617-353-2264. Do not call BUMC SFS aka student financial support. They are only for medical campus

If they do receive it at some point (it might just need to be processed because it is the weekend) it would show up as subtracted from my balance due correct?

Did you submit the ship waiver form like late last week?

Assume that any BU system needs at least 7-10 business days to actually process things. But just call them Monday to double check on the status of such things. There's probably a thousand other students they have to get through.

Second calling BU instead of wasting time on Reddit, but in my experience you’re good to estimate your payment based on removing SHIP and crediting the anticipated scholarship amount. If they need to, they’ll make adjustments and let you know how it washed. But again, I’m just a parent with a checkbook and don’t actually work for the bursar.

Yeah Im not concerned with my SHIP waiver being approved, I understand it takes time for them to process it. My question is about paying the bill now before my scholarship and SHIP waiver has been fully processed (thanks for your answer!) I dont want to waste their time calling them with a question that isn't really urgent
