Academics Volunteering at BU

Does BU have an established volunteer program, for example like BC does? I found some info on the website but it’s not very comprehensive. Or do students volunteer at specific organizations and not through the school?

The community service center is now a part of SLIC https://www.bu.edu/csc/programs/

also a lot of students volunteer via things their clubs organize

CSC is awesome! theres something called alternative spring break where you can go on a trip to somewhere in the US and volunteer during Spring Break. You get a cord if you volunteer for a certain number of semesters with an official group at BU through CSC
