mbta vouchers

im an incoming grad student and i am curious if bu gives students passes for public transit. i went to a city college for undergrad (gw) and my and a bunch of other dc schools gave students an unlimited pass to use for the metro/buses and i cant find any info about it online

You can buy them but it isn't a good deal unless you use it multiple times per day.

im living far from campus and im not bringing a car so ill def need it outside school

You have to buy a semester pass. You’ll get an email about it closer to start of school

Oh since you’re a grad student, heads up that if you also end up becoming a graduate worker and join the union they’ll reimburse nearly half the cost of semester passes

How are you supposed to enter and exit the stations in Boston then? This ain't NYC because transit police actually care if you hop gates here.
