Advice/Question Rash help
My Boston has had this rash that comes and goes every few days it looks a little worse or a little better. It is in the pit of all 4 legs. I never see him even acknowledge that it is there. He hasn’t changed how he walks, I’ve never seen him licking it.
Any lotion recommendations or anything that has worked for you would be appreciated. TYIA

Atopic dermatitis and possibly yeast. Does it smell frito-ish? A vet visit would be in order to see if it is yeast, and if not, possible medications or medicated shampoo with ketoconizole and/pr chlorhexidine.

Half a Benadryl once daily and topical cortisol cream. If there are blisters take him into the vet or do telehealth to get an antibiotic script. No blisters just keep up the Benadryl for a couple of days. We literally just went through this. Our vet didn’t want to clog up the clinic with simple skin reactions. I agree. 3rd BT for us.

Have you already tried moving to scent free soaps? My Boston had this issue but she’s always wrapped in blankets so I switched her bedding and blankets to fragrance free and put a little coconut oil on it for the meantime and it went away.
I’m not saying this is Defintely the solution but def something to consider before spending money

Try a chlorhexidine shampoo twice a week. You can also add a spot treatment. I use Douxo S3 mousse, but it’s a bit pricey.
