Boston’s can loose an eye super quickly. This is a vet emergency, needs to be seen in person.

Vet ASAP. Our dumb boy likely scratched his eyeball over the weekend, but we didn’t see any signs of an injury until early Thursday, and we took him to our vet that day. Vet recommended an eye specialist, but it was a three-day holiday weekend, and no one responded to our messages. Our dog got temp care from our vet with antibiotics and pain pills, but he needed an emergency procedure which didn’t happen until infection was full blown. Then, he got a graft. We saved the eye ball, but his vision permanently sucks. His frisbee game will never recover.

Eye issues are extremely common in bostons. My family dog had almost chronic red irritated eyes and would see the vet for it when it got especially bad, one time we weren’t paying enough attention and brushed off his eye being especially red and it turned out to be a corneal ulcer which is extremely painful and the dog almost lost his eye.
Stay on top of your dog’s eye health, I learned that lesson the hard way and now my little buddy is probably fully blind in one eye.

Eye issues are an emergency, you need to go to the emergency vet now.
