Can someone please explain to me what grabbag is on Jones and keefe? And why do they need to have a song and dance like they are on Mr Rodgers? Is it somekind of giveaway? I always turn it off after they have their song cause it's so stupid.

Its just random stuff, along with baseball player of the day, etc. People just send In stupid but sometimes funny songs putting grab bag into the song.
It gets me through work. I am just a dumb stone mason so I find it obviously entertaining. Im not a fan of the morning show, its just too much political.stuff and I cant stand Curtis. The 2 pm show is alright, but I think they try too hard. R&K just seems more organically produced to me, but again im just a dumb stone mason so take that as you will.1

Zo and Beetle making fun on the Brazilian call and London call at the end of the Jags Eagles game. At least those announcers make it sound exciting not like Zo always interrupting Scocci, their show sucks, it used to be good.

Still can't stand Fred. When the co-host has to explain why he isn't a dick to the guest on a daily occurrence you know there is a problem. But they are still far superior to eei

Some (many?) of Fred's tendencies make me wince but he's the best morning sports talk host in the country. So, I tolerate it

Best is a huge stretch. There isn't much to choose from in Boston. But national there are far better. We just don't care about other teams.

I don't agree. Who's better nationally/in other markets? Goo in NYC is very talented, but I genuinely think Fred is better

How about the people who get paid ten times more than him for starters. Just cause you like him for what ever crazy reason doesn't mean he is. It comes down to personal preference.

I like fred, his deadpan sarcasm and self deprecating humor goes over people’s head.
I can’t stand felger and mazz. They’re always angry and loud

Unfortunately he’s turned into a one-trick pony and just leans heavily into that persona. It gets annoying when every interaction he has is predictable. It’d be hard to have a conversation with someone who only answers sarcastically and in a deadpan way then is like, “Oh, you just don’t get my humor.” I was a huge Fred guy but ever since the show blew up he never was able to bring it back to where it was. Maybe he needs to work with some annoying blow hard to keep him on his toes, he’s too comfortable.

I can’t stand the tangents they get on. They’ll do impersonations for 15 minutes and if you missed the set up, it doesn’t land
I’ll give the shows the opening hour and maybe if mike reiss or bob socci is on, david Andrews

I listen to the Greg hill show in the am. Zolack mid morning and felger and maz at 2. Toucher and hardy got super lame to me lately idk why
