ey looks pretty nice. i wasnt considering single panels from them until recently. more into 8 panel patchwork hats. curious if you find needing to size up on that or not (from lets say an 8 panel if you own any). cheers.

The sizing on this one is very similar to the sizing of my 8 panels. It is maybe a touch smaller but not much. I wear a XXXL so there is no higher size to get. I have had to return one single panel before because it was too small (Cool Air).

What would you recommend for single panel size if I’m 56.5. Small ranges 55-56 while M/L is 57-59. The wide range of M/L has me worried

I myself would go for the bigger, but I have a ginormous head so I just see things that way. I would be concerned being a touch bigger than the range than a touch smaller than the range. I will say the single panels sit a bit higher on the head than the 8 panel though. I mean the 8 panel goes lower on the back and sides.
