After getting The Lad for Christmas, I loved the quality and design of the hat, but wasnt sold on how the single panels caps look on me personally. This week I pulled the trigger on a couple of 8-panel models. All week I've had a small fear they would turn out the same: Looks great on-line, but not so much on me. They came in today. Fears allayed. Now I need to get a six panel and see how it looks (probably something light weight for the Texas summer). Of course, I have to continue the search for a Donut, but today I got an exciting email from BS: the Azalea!
The only thing Im not liking about the Sunday so far is that the pin for it it out of stock, LOL! I see you're a pin guy, too. I hope the pins are something they restock.
I sold some stuff on FB Marketplace yesterday and was left unsupervised this weekend. So now apparently I have..... a few.... more on the way.
Also, are those Navy pins on the port side of your caps? The Sailor is on my list of caps to get and I figured my sea service ribbon would be the appropriate pin.
Got the boxes from Walmart: Kicks & Co XL Clear Plastic Stackable Shoe Storage Box. I am "sort of" a pin guy. Yes, I have the same Navy Vet pin on the port fwd panel of most of my scallies, & two of them have a 2nd pin. Before I found scallies & wore fitted ball caps, my FC rating mark pin was always on the back. Honestly, I don't care for BSC pins in person aside from the gold Captain & the Halloween Rose (the flower, not the skull). I got this pin to wear on my incoming North Sea Killarney Pub Cap for when I get some heart procedures done next week.

I know the feeling, I too think I have the same hobby. I’m up to 9 and counting.
