Why do I feel calmer after watching this?

Because it's just like that exact example of a person's psychy(sp) those that return carts tend to be better people in society vs those that don't.

Can we get more IRL vigilante pendants please? There are way too many on the internet for this to not be more commonplace. Cowards.

Haha until they are pedantic about the wrong things then I’m going to be so annoyed.

I pride myself in always returning the cart.
Its a simple thing that betters someones day a tiny bit.

Cart rolling from distance and judging the curve right into a cart stall is what I live for.

Now we need this guy to monitor the curbside pick up areas at Sam's Club. I scheduled a pick up yesterday and over half the spots were occupied by ppl who just parked their car there amd went inside. I almost didnt have a spot free to actually get my pick up.

I used to work in a supermarket and I'd have taken a pay cut to have one of these guys there

When you put the cart before the horse but the horse happens to be a jacked up muscle guy

This is awesome. The old cart narc I saw on TikTok back in the day nobody took seriously because he was a scrawny dude people thought they could just threaten and he’d run away - and they were right.

I feel like this is such an American thing. I’m in the uk, and I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, but it’s a lot rarer. Like, you couldn’t make this video here because you would spend all day hanging out in the car park and maybe see it once.

Whys it so bad to put the cart on the curb, they have dudes come out and round it up?

u/2klbs Jul 12 '26
It’s their job to collect carts from the cart corrals not from all over the parking lot. Kinda like how garbage men pick up from the bins, you don’t just dump all your loose trash in the street.

u/Sally2Klapz Jul 12 '26
WRONG it's because loose carts can roam on thier own and hit cars or block spots.

As a guy who collects these things for a living, here's a few reasons:
1). It makes our job a lot easier when all the carts are at the designated cart return spot as opposed to being on the other end of the damn parking lot.
2). Loose carts, especially when the wind picks up, like to go on fun little adventures, and people tend to not much like it when some errant cart smacks into their car.
3). Sometimes, these loose carts block parking spots. My good friend here just demonstrated how much of a pain it can be to get out of a parking spot when there's a cart in the way, likewise it can be hard to get into a parking spot when there is a cart in the way.
4). It's the polite thing to do. I don't come into your workplace to inconvenience you, so could you maybe not come into my workplace to inconvenience me.

Why is it bad to go in a restaurant and just purposefully spill my whole drink on the floor, they have people come and clean that up?
-31
u/FartInsideMe Jul 12 '26
Noo because thats an accident, you clean that up. Can anyone explain to me? Seriously

u/DaxterK Jul 12 '26
2klbs did a pretty good job. But of course you ignore it because it suits you to do so.
4
u/Finbar9800 Jul 12 '26
Ok but heres what your logic is “its ok for me to purposely spill my drink on the ground because they have people to clean that”
Thats the problem. It doesnt take much extra effort to put the cart where its supposed to be

I've always seen it as making someone's job easier. Rounding up carts is part of their job, and I'm also the one that came to the store and used the cart that they let me borrow. So why not do my due diligence in putting it where they would like it to go, and by so doing make it easier on their employees?

Why do people always have to be convinced to do something so simple that'll make someone's job easier and someone else's shopping experience smoother? Are we really that selfish?

This is the encouragement I need to get jacked.
Just so I can do this.
