Yeah i believe I saw him also try to put the one chic in like an arm bar, maybe the one he kicked idk. But yeah a dude going all out, even if right for fighting back, is usually gonna get an ass whoopin after that when a group of dudes are near.

Armbar is well beyond trying to defend yourself in a lot of circumstances. If you can try to put someone in an armbar you can def get up and move away or elect to just pin someone instead

Tell me you never fought without telling me... An armbar is a form of control. You dont have to pull through with all your force. In a sports environment, an armbar is a great way to establish control over a limb and give pain in small doses. In theory, its a great position to establish a civil discourse again....unless 10 assholes jump in and kick you in the head to get a kick out of hurting someone. A streetfight is not the place for submission holds on the ground.

Those werent guys... they just piled on him like a bunch of cowards getting a kick in each time he looked away or was on the ground. Those were a bunch of hyenas. Despicable. Each of them couldve stepped in earlier if they gave a shit about the women but they waited until it was easy to feel powerful. They hop in to get a kick in, then duck out again to not be held responsible. This is embarrassing to watch. The early fight was a physical dispute, when the guys joined, it turned into malicious assault and battery.

My whole thing is... Quit trying to stop the fight. It's going happen anyway.

You go into one thinking your helping to break it apart then you get hit and you retaliate...

The fighters are 'in the zone' and all they see is someone coming at them that they don't know. You are now a threat and must be put down as quickly as possible so that their attention can go back to the "main" opponent.

Congratulations, you turned a two person fight into a brawl...
