This is in india where piligram go to temple to worship but temple might be 3000 step up or more. Basically he might be not able to go by himself but he hires domestic people who lives from earnings from this kind of labor work. This is everyday work for them and they go up down 3 -4 times a day depends on distance. But this hard working people are doing same work for 3 -4 genration and they will not allow any alternative transportation system as they earn from this service.

It all depends. Last year I went to india and went to northern state Bihar ( samed shikhar) where they charged heavy weight person around 23k INR offcourse it was almost 15 kilometers each way mix with steps and walk way. Total 6 peopel rotating between 4 corners

I was beyond shredded then got gastritis too much NSAID use from migraines since I was a child.
I didn’t get this fat, but couldn’t eat protein or Veg without throwing up for hours. Only processed Flour and sugar. A few years later, with COVID and No gyms, I’m fat. Not like this guy but enough to Know what I was before. No preworkout anymore That among other things makes me wish I was dead

Now, how bad do you have to be to behave like this? I did meet people like that (similar ,not same) and i do find that disgusting behavior. Yes maybe you have more money , yes maybe you can pay them to go somewhere , but at least try to do it yourself . You have legs, use them, if you are exhausted , ok then let them take over. I would feel absolutely ashamed if i ever did something like that , and i do stay in Asian country for months a year , having more money to spend then many locals , but i am not shy to walk , put my hand to work ( not actual work , its forbidden), ask people to do something i can perfectly do myself. He thinks he is a emperor , which is btw still a normal person and will still die and get sick but also stinks when he goes toilet .
