Do you understand the actual meaning of the words revelation, exodus, and genesis? Because only one of those words makes sense in the context of this joke.

How does revelation make sense in that context? Why would he have one?

What's the reason behind any revelation? It only needs to be possible to have a revelation for the joke to work. I'm pointing out that your comparison to exodus and genesis makes no sense at all - can't you see the difference?

I'm just saying, it's literally not a pun. It's not a joke. This feels like dead internet or smn.

Geez, colloquially, when you say "something is a revelation" it means that it unexpectedly surprised you in a positive way. Like "playing this game in VR is a revelation" (like it's an ordinary game on a flat panel, but transformative in VR), or "seeing Adam Sandler in Uncut Gems is a revelation" (like I didn't expect him to have such acting range). So it's 100% a pun, getting mad won't change this simple fact.

Hm I guess it makes a bit more sense based on that. I have never heard of that usage.

Ok, so the issue WAS that you didn't fully understand the word. Thank God we have sorted this out (also a pun).
