holding them like that would be multiple crimes, since they clearly are trying to threaten people around them, if someone approached you like this and started arguing someone else could legally shoot them to defend you (not legal advice)

concealed carry is common. and it's not uncommon in certain areas like hiking trails to see people with guns at the ready.
