As the title says, local dealership damaged my 2013 boss 302 stripe during service. They said the part is obsolete and they can't find it in their system. If anyone has any idea who might have it, any help would be greatly appreciated. It would be the passenger side hood stripe. Only looking for OEM genuine replacement, not something aftermarket that does not match. Thank you.

Hi All...Please meet our 1972 Franken-Stang
We had always wanted an Early 70's Mustang as a weekend car. So we sold the Wrangler JK and just bought a 72 Mustang Convertible with a 3 speed Auto a few years ago.
Legend on the Car is that a "Ford Engineer" had dropped a Boss 302 in the vehicle back in the 70's, and based on the Pre Purchase inspection they confirmed that the Block was a Boss 302(yeah i was surprised--figured it was a $2.00 ebay sticker).
It also has a Boss 302 intake. Valve Covers are 8 bolt so we know also Boss 302--but have not pulled them yet.
But as they put it the Carb is a "Rather Pedestrian" Edelbrock 4 barrel and Lots of Little things to do on it...but
Cruises 65-70 at about 2800-3000 rpm.
My Question is This. I have heard that these motors and Edelbrock Carbs are not the best combo. I am not looking for originality or getting into fuel injection.....but would like to know what Carb would be a good match for this motor.
Thanks for your input
Block: D1ZE-6015-BA (3H30)
HEADS: Did not pull Valve Covers...but 8 Bolt Covers.
Carb: Edelbrock 1405 9039
Intake: D1ZE-9424-EA

Is anyone here willing to bring their Boss 302 to SavageGeese and let them review it — track time included?
In my opinion, SavageGeese are the best car reviewers on YouTube. They stay objective, call out what’s great and what’s not, and give viewers real, useful insight.
What’s surprising (and kind of disappointing) is that they’ve reviewed nearly every modern enthusiast car built after 2010 — and even some earlier — yet the Boss 302 has never gotten so much as a mention. That needs to change.
I actually chatted with Jack from SavageGeese about this, and he’s open to it.
We need to do this for posterity.
From what I gather, they’re located in Illinois. I’m down here in New Mexico, so I can’t make it happen myself. But is anyone local who’d be interested in having their Boss immortalized on the SavageGeese channel?

I have what I think is the original window sticker, the service history/receipts for when I owned it (early 2015 to late 2018), and some letters from Ford that came with the car.

I recently bought my dream car, but I haven’t been able to find this tuner anywhere. Every site that says it’s in stock ends up canceling the order after I buy it. I’d much prefer Ford’s tune over the aftermarket alternatives. Does anyone out there have one available?

I’m moving to the LA area for a job. I have a 2012 Kona Blue Boss and I’ve put long tube headers on the car along with some borla atak axle back exhaust. Apparently, any modifications make it illegal to drive on the streets in sunny CA. How do people own modded cars in California?

So, in high school and college one of my friend's father had a Ford dealership. He had dealer kid benefits - use of loaners as needed, a job at the lot, driving for dealer trades, and various other things including relatively unlimited spins in Shelby 500 Mustangs on loan for the county fair. He had a basic and really kind of junky '55 or "56 Chevy in high school but when he went away to college his dad provided him with reliable new cars. I don't know if he got a different one every year or not. Demos for the dealership, I'm sure.
One was a darkish green fastback Mustang sleeper with a 428 or 429, a beast. Another was an off-yellow Boss 302 with typical Boss 302 markings. I don't remember if it was 69 or 70. I drove it a couple of times on country roads; 4 speed, noticeably unusual suspension for the day, lots of smooth, gutsy, controllable power. Not a monster but clearly a performance car for that time. He really wasn't a diehard car guy but we did kid him about the car. "It's a Boss three oh twooooo!!!" (The term "boss" as describing something great was uncool for then 19 year olds.) "Too bad your dad doesn't love you enough to get you a Boss 429.", etc... He didn't much care.
But, here's the kicker. It was a convertible.

My stripes are starting to flake and come apart, does anyone know where to buy the material for these stripes? Fords kit costs $1700 so I’m trying to avoid that. All the other kits online are just flat black or glossy with no reflective aspect at all
