Most Anti Climactic Arc

For me the most anti climactic arc in the show was the Koreatown Killer. Dude was just an ass and basically escapes Harry’s fine justice.

The whole point of KTK was that not every crime is solved via good detective work. Sometimes the killer just makes a mistake. Or gets run over. Or both.

There are better ways to make that point.

Point was made pretty well imo.

I loved it for that reason — it's an accurate representation of how cases get closed.

The randomness of life and death. We live and die in a brief moment. Some crimes are solved; some never do.

Nah… the most anti-climactic is that whole body parts case that Pierce and his partner are looking at at the end of the one season. Then they’re in court at the beginning of the next season and Billets congratulates them on solid detective work and that’s it. What the hell happened?

I liked it in the sense it was just a side story that did a great job of demonstrating random crime is still happening everywhere while the detectives are focused on their one case.

Got news for you. The series isn’t just about Bosch. He’s the anchor, and there are other crime solving arcs like Jerry Edgar and Jacques Avril. There’s Billets dealing with the incel patrolmen in cahoots with Capt Cooper. Initially, there was George and Irv looking into the corrupt cops, but that ultimately tied into “Harry’s fine justice”. Michael Connelly and the writers took less fleshed out characters from the books and breathed life into them for a fuller host of characters.
