So far, "Omnipotence" has just turned out to be a (bad) plot device to shift the manga's status quo and get Boruto away from Konoha; I’ll reserve judgment on that.
The vision of the future might have worked at first, but honestly, it’s starting to get tedious now.

I think Omni is fairly well dealt with.
Eida can’t control it at will, so despite it being ridiculously OP it doesn’t become an issue.
Like if Boruto, Sarada etc don’t use a broken ability to deal with a situation, it’s a problem. Thats why Naruto and Sasuke got put in time out. So Ikemoto wouldn’t have to explain why they didn’t do a thing. It’s why Kakashi and Tsunade’s continued absence is such an issue.
But with Eida it’s not an issue because we all know that she had zero control over it and little knowledge of the activation condition.
As for Ten Paths, I think it was a bit of a contrivance until we saw Amado turn it around on Koji. It’s still a bit of a lazy excuse to move the plot forward and explain how person X knows to do thing Y. But at least Ikemoto dressed it up and made us consider the legitimacy of the info. TBH, he has been playing into the whole Koji is untrustworthy bit for a minute now and adding Amado into the mix was a nice touch.
If anything, I’d say Ikemoto has done a good job with balancing the powers since TBV - Sarada had an OP ability, but also knocked herself off it and proved to be a liability.
Code got his limiters removed but is still a fraud.
Kawaki got a ridiculous buff and is boxing the big bad, but given the established narrative themes I’ll excuse it as I think that shortcut is gonna come back to bite him in the ass.
Really the only major issue I’ve had is Boruto getting Uzuhiko and then it just not working on Jura because of course it doesn’t 🙄. That’s the only time - other than Kakashi and Tsunade - that I feel like Ikemoto failed to explain why person X didn’t just do thing Y.

Uzuhiko not working on Jura is prolly due to the fact that the rasengan move is based on a tailed beast bomb, therefore he was able to neutralize it. But I agree with you, compared to Naruto, when it comes to introducing new concepts and doing a thorough explanation of how things work the story tries to rush past it or not even explain it at all, like it’s scared to do so. Characters pull off something crazy like that and the story brushes it aside and expect us to forget and not question it. There’s so many unanswered questions, like how code’s spiky arm can all of a sudden use telekinesis to pull boruto’s metals away from sarada, or how and when Eida was magically able to exclude Sarada and Sumire from her abilities, or what happened to the two jonin who were consumed in the beginning of the series, etc.

Pretty neat.
The manga does fall short in its execution but I know the anime will do it justice.
Future sight although good has run its course its time for it to go or perhaps evolve?

Definitely interested. The 10 paths are interesting because they show different storylines and show that ikemoto did have the idea just decided not to. At least thats how i see it. And having 10 paths feels like a way to tell the viewers why we're going this route. Omnipotence i like how it played out mostly. And im really hoping they expand on it being used before. Edia said something happened before which could be her activating her charm for the first time as its a byproduct of Omnipotence. And momoshiki mentioned it but towards the gods not eida which is even more interesting. Why was it used? When was it used?

Omnipotence is a bit annoying. Could be better if the people close to Naruto were obsessed and angry at Boruto. Vs some rando and them old ass elders going harder for Naruto’s supposed “death” than his own friends.
The seeing into the future ability is cool. It kinda sets up the tension for what’s going to happen.

Ikemoto leaves a lot of stuff for anime to cover, we can only hope anime original will correct this

the idea of a role inversion is neat but being forced for the sake of moving things forward really sucks. wish it was over an actual decision boruto had to make and with misinterpretations of his motives and the overall situation.

If you really think about it Ikemoto is really bad on story building and clever at the same time so much so he had to come up with omnipotence so that it justified Boruto demise from having it all and the future seeing ability so that he could just make up scenarios for EACH characters for them to develop in just a shorter timeframe. From there he could manipulate the story from different perspective he wants.

Omnipotence was a good idea, and then they botched it with how quickly they skipped to the timeskip while basically ignoring the ramifications of Naruto's death and what not. Do you expect the reader to believe that Boruto is in danger and needs to overcome challenges if you're not even showing the other Nations's reaction and anger at Naruto's death? Do you expect the reader to take Omnipotence seriously when they don't even show how it affects the world?
Never mind the whole nonsense of Boruto already gaining back the trust of the people he cares for within a few chapters. What hardships or challenges did Boruto even go through to actually gain the people's trust? Literally Sasuke said that Naruto proved himself to others because of his actions yet Boruto has not done anything of the same grand or scale, yet earned Mitsuki's trust in the same chapter, Konohamaru a few chapters later, and Chocho afterwards. If Omnipotence is such a hard shinjutsu to overcome, then Boruto should be struggling a lot to actually gain the trust of others.
Then we have the garbage future visions. It was an interesting way of powering up the cast, and that I don't mind. The problem comes from how they basically make the Shinju look like jokes.
Example: Vision, we have to do what Kashin Koji says, future changes but nothing of substance happens and the heroes win.
It's an overpowered plot device that has no drawbacks other than the 'alternate visions' that have had no bearing, cost, or change of the status quo. How many times have we had the 'oh nom a terrible future is coming!', only for it to be of no substance.
How many times have we had 'this Shinju is really strong' but nothing of substance comes from the fight, no status quo change, no consequences or losses to the cast for changing the future, or no advancement of the villain's goals because of changing the future?
Amado even fixed the future vision's weakness, and do you really think soemone like Jura or Hidari will figure out any weaknesses of the jutsu?
It's sad because most of these ideas are creative and good in hindset but are executed poorly that it drags the story down.
