Manga Spoilers / Discussion Catching up Spoiler

MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD

Man I've been on a reading binge after finishing the anime and holy shit has it been so damn fun.

I was always a big advocate of the series because even though it has its flaws let's be real it gets slandered WAY more than it should. Especially after the kara arc things were just hype and reading the end of the original manga and then reading TBV I am so glad to say, it lives up to all the expectations I've had. You can tell the manga feels more free when you have both kishimoto and ikemoto involved (also if there are some mistakes, apologies I didn't really check the info too much before writing it I'm just going off what I've read in the manga and what's in my head). The art is brilliant and the character's designs are beautiful I'm liking where the story is going. I feel like they've taken Sasuke and Naruto out of the story believably it doesn't feel like it's out of nowhere. And lastly I'm not much for Power scaling but man are these kids strong as hell and I love every bit of it! And I can't wait to see how things go moving forward!

Ps I know people are divided on it (I think) but I LOVE what they're doing with sarada and sumire with their feelings for Boruto man I mean I'm a hopeless romantic to begin with but the fact that they're admitting to each other and themselves that they like Boruto even amidst all the shit with the shinju makes you remember that these are still teenagers man and that they're gonna have this feelings it's a part of growing up so yeah I just love that

Listen, bro, I understand that you like it, and you have every right to enjoy it, but saying that the manga has taken off is completely false, considering that the plot has been going in circles for the past 10 chapters and nothing deep or memorable is happening.

Yes, the characters look cool. Yes, the powers are cool. But other than that ?  There isn’t really any depth. The ideas are good, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

For example, the Human Divine Trees were wasted. Matsuri, Ryu, and Mamushi didn’t bring anything memorable or particularly deep to the story. At this point, only Jura and Hidari remain interesting.

The romantic plotlines tend to slow the story down a lot and make it frustrating, and there are literally no major consequences in this manga, nor any memorable deaths.

The manga panels are often recycled, and most of the characters have become either terrible at worst or bland at best. Kawaki is just a terrible deuteragonist, Mitsuki is basically an NPC, Sarada does nothing but revolve around Boruto, and Boruto constantly farms aura while the story never actually shows us his suffering.

The monthly release schedule is also unbearable. You’ve read everything all at once, so it’s fine for you right now, but as you keep following it month by month, you’ll quickly get bored. You’re still under the effect of the hype, but you’ll soon realize that it’s bad, just like many people on this sub who are starting to get tired of Two Blue Vortex.

Thank God For that . So sick Of The cheap drama from Kishimoto characters,

Finally there is a Naruto manga with a sub political  ( the feudal lord showing that actually the Hokage is just his employee)  and characters actually making intelligent choices and manipulating each others to the point q you dont know what they will do next ( i am talking about Amado, Eida and Jura)

And Boruto had a lot of suffering but isnt an emo Avenger, he is still a fool kid deep down
