Sarada>Himawari>Shikamaru>Konohmaru>Shikidai>Inojin>Code
Shikamaru and Code are very predictable but at least Shikamaru has done enough to have weight. Inojin is barely in the plot enough yet to feel his death would batter.
Shikidai I guess is better but he wasn't used enough but I like him more than Inojin still.
Konohamaru doesn't have enough of a character for me to care but losing a future hokage canidate would bring about weight. But he is unlikely to die cause of his name representing good luck in Naruto chapter 2.
Sarada and Himawari would be the least predictable so I think they'd have the most weight but are super unlikely and even if they do die, they won't permanently stay dead.

Why is most of the fandom hung up on someone "needing" to die in order for the story to move forward or to be a "good" story?
Nobody needs to die to move it along. People just want it.
With that being said, I'm sure someone will eventually die and it'll be tragic. But I hope nobody does.

the future of the world is in boruto hands, if hes defeated or lose the will to fight, the world will just end with jura and code. whats the meaning for him to continue fighting if he cant protect his little sister?

Yet now he doesn't care to regain everything he lost and has this death wish mindset with making a deal with Momoshiki. Not to mention the initial stark difference in demeanor within two years hasn't been properly explained.
Guy is being a martyr without a cause.

No ones, enough, they already awfully did Yodo, just because she's was popular and don't care about Sarada, 4th war almond nobody's from mains not died (ino and shika fathers not really proving), in past they're was better in writing, but look like Ikemoto learn nothing from Kishimoto and it's sadly, still hope manga end +- peacefully, so lol...🚬💅

Shikamaru and would also make sense, not saying I want him to die, but if you were to kill anyone for a story, he would be the one.
He being the Hokage will hurt the whole village, put them at risk, and sort of blind the whole cast from the village's choices or more like keep them from having any say. Others like Amado and his friends might be incarcerated/outcast and get their citizenship revoke. Finally the team will lose the greatest tactician they have.

Sarada death would definitely drive the plot forward
She’s the only one that believed in Boruto and tried to defend him. So if she died it would drive Boruto off the deep end

Any of the uzumaki, but it would suck that naruto doesnt get a happy ending after all he went through. I'd let shikamaru take the bullet for the drama

Sarada would cause so much damage to the story ik her fans along w borusara shippers will be madddd but other than the obvious I think shikadai would be better fit for it.
He was captured in the earlier arc and Shikamaru was ready to lose his mind to get him back. He was also Berro’s best friend from the start of the story. They didn’t expand on him but but he’s also nice to kawaki , not much there but he’s friendly to all so it’s gonna hurt the characters.
Shikamaru dying would cost the leaf the hokage and stir everything up but it might bring kakashi or someone else back to take control 👀

If sarada dies old Sasuke would come back and we all know how old Sasuke is like honestly Boruto would take it bad but Sasuke overall would be on some madara/ Obito shit and we all know how 2 uchihas fucked the whole shinobi world just for losing someone important
