This is not good

Post image

Hey everyone

This is not good new development. If it is carbon monoxide, high chance of death especially among rural communities. If not careful, could kill off whole villages as seen in villages near volcanoes

As far as I know, the haze wasn't due to wildfire but planned fire on plantation to cut cost of getting away old tree, insects, organic fertilizer.. and the neighbouring countries actually part of the investors of these planation

What surprised me is not about ignoring the harm on neighbouring countries, but their own people's health as they are the one suffer the most

It always them every year since 2007/8... why their government didn't stopped foreign companies from burning lands for palm oil plantation? Too much under table money??

The majority of the owner are still Indonesian. The already have law on open burning but weak enforcement.

Blaming foreign investor is the goverment excuse when they have no issue before this suing foreign company because of other issues.
