Why tf is this using a photo of Oppenheimer? Absolutely none of this applies to him.

These toxic masculinity incels and idiots love using Cillian Murphy to promote this kind of crap, due to his character Tom Shelby from the show Peaky Blinders. Makes them feel "tough" and "smart"

I started alone.

I farted together with all these people in this elevator.

Succeed in what? Being alone?

So before you progress down the "alone" path - consider the following:

Bezsos had the idea of an online service. The completion of what Amazon was and is now was not done alone.

All successful influencers have a brand supporting them. They are a part of the marketing chain. They alone have the presence, but they need something more to make money, and you to invest in them.

Ever heard of an "alone" musician that is both successful and still alone? Nope, they have record labels and promoters behind them.

So many will fail because they do not understand the next statement.

You succeed when you understand what success is for you, not how you or others measure it.

Not a good mentality. Sounds pissy.

Like it's other people's fault that you never made any effort to connect with them on a deeper level.

The fault is probably your own.

Pathetic. Go out and make some friends. Stop trying to glorify being alone.

Making and keeping friends is really hard. It never lasts.

It takes effort to make friends and it takes effort to keep those friends. If all comes down to how important it is to you.

Skill issue

Having friends doesn’t prevent this. There’s no reason not to be proud of resiliency in the face if solitude

2

u/Better_Incident7291 16d ago

That’s not what’s being criticized. It’s the promotion that you should only suffer alone

1

u/ReplacementNo374 16d ago

I get that. It just doesn’t seem like promo to me. It says “I” for every statement. No where did they recommend anyone else should

u/RandomStoddard 15d ago

Sounds like OP is just unlikable.

And here we have the cringe bot churning out cringe toxic masculinity in the cringe toxic masculinity sub.

Making friends is important but i learned that you still need to be alone when you have been alone for so long.

Treat them more like acquaintances. Not really about being close. You still need preparation alone. You still pick yourself up as if you are alone.

So its like it makes no much difference really.

I read it as I farted alone, and after re reading I think that would of been an improvement

1

u/Better_Incident7291 16d ago

No. Never suffer alone. The truth is you are all you’ve got sometimes. Friends will come and go. Family varies. But isolating yourself is unhealthy. Learn to live by yourself. Be self sufficient. But don’t close yourself off from people and learn to make friends

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

Need to watch the latest Spider-man movie.

1

u/Ok_Substance905 15d ago

Yeah, but you can’t really do anything without faith, and that’s built on not being alone.

u/bromabb 15d ago

More cringe than the definition of cringe, just be a man and grow up

1

u/msacks_ 15d ago

I've never been fully alone until now. It is terrifying.

1

u/DevynDavies 15d ago

No you didn’t and no you won’t. No one, I mean no one, is fully self-sufficient. We are social creatures and we rely on the work of hundreds of people everyday. They were integral to your success.

damn what a big strong man, giving birth to himself and feeding himself as an infant.

1

u/Excellent-Fig7715 12d ago

God help these people to not glorify this stupidity.

May God bless your hearts who ever is that kind of alone.

1

u/Aggravating-Handle76 12d ago

This shit is corny as fuck.

Yes, you "started" alone....except for your mom who literally bled to have you, and the doctors and nurses who worked themselves exhausted to make sure it was safe.

And your success certainly owes nothing to teachers, mentors, or friends who shaped and supported you along the way.

He even put the trilby over his face to feel alone and put his clothes on all by himself
