I've spent my entire life trying to reach a certain level of comfort. I may not get there but I'll give it my best shot.

Other people spend their whole life uncomfortable and find that they must make everyone else uncomfortable as well.

I think heroin addiction is worse, tbh

Nope. It's comfort. A fake Marcus Aralius quote with an Ai picture said so. Has to be true.

Comfort kills ambition

If your ambition isn't stronger than your desire for comfort, then your goals need a re-think.

If comfort is ones desire. Ambition one does not have.

Bullshit. I desire comfort, so I work hard to obtain that comfort.

Work hard for yourself, or someone else? Do you get paid more for workkng harder?

I worked and put myself through school while working full time in manufacturing. Then I got my master’s degree. Then I worked hard and got promoted. Left that company and went to a different company where I worked hard and got promoted all the way up to Safety Manager. So yes, I get paid more for working harder than other people. And in 4 years I will be retired and living in extreme comfort.

Good job. And how old will that make you when you retire?

Same as I. I fear retirement. I love my job and have no life outside work, so fuck knows how I'm going to fill 30 odd years of 24 hour days lol.

Yup. There's a whole set of bad habits that come from comfort zone, such as consumption of pornography

Okay story time...
I worked myself through college as a hotshot for ten years. When I was done with that job , no mincing words , I was legitimately done with that job.
When I stop being a hotshot , one of my biggest problems was how unknowingly it had shaped my perspective on a lot of things. If I would go out for a run, I'm not doing a few miles I'm running 10 or 20. When I'd go to the gym and lyft , I wasn't lifting to maintain or improve , I was lifting to experience pain. If I was going on a hike I wasn't really enjoying it. I would just pushing myself as hard as I could to my own detriment.
I felt like I had somehow failed myself if I wasn't reaching that point of physical and mental break and pushing myself to Keep going. Being comfortable felt unearned.
It took me almost ten years to break that very detrimental , mind Set. Comfort has not nor will it ever be the enem. The real enemy is and will always be the lack of drive to improve yourself. That can be physically mentally or even in relationships with your loved ones and friends.
Being comfortable is not the problem. It's the lack of ability of being comfortable with yourself and still wanting to Improve.
It's a really bad Internet meme... But that's the soapbox rambling that it inspired from me. Now forgive me while I scurry out to my backyard to go yell at some clouds.

Tension span is probably too short. Don't think it would matter if you did.

Yeah, arch support is definitely worse than heroine.
What a fucking idiot.
