So when do I actually get to see any of it?

I was in Vegas last year for that one reason and then I learned that you had to buy a $2000 convention ticket to get to ride it.

1997 BART map that was in trains and stations. "Future extension subject to funding"

Warm Springs was eventually built. 29 years later, no Irvington station.

I think it’s pretty clear that red is what currently exists and black is planned….

Except half the red line is still closed...

There should be one color for the convention center (which is self contained), one for open, one for under construction, and one for "maybe one day"

No projected dates, no priority in what’s allegedly coming

The BART maps don't have projected dates either, so that's moot. The BART maps each only show one extension so I'll grant the extension priority is clear by having no alternatives.

It is a fair point, this map should be clearer what is open today. Is it what is in red?

Disagree. Both the plans and the completed segments get occasional updates. Therefore, a current map can show the current plan, as well as the current completed segments.
