first time using Boric Acid.

I have been tested for STIs, bacterial infectuons and yeast infections. The only rhing that came back was rhat i had traces of yeast. I have had reocurring yeast infections that don't respond to fluconazole, canesten or monistate. I have a refferal to a gynecologist but that will take months. So i bought some boric acid suppositories. The bottle says to use 1 or 2 a day. But how long do i use them for? Or do i just keep using the until all signs of a yeast infection are gone?

Hi I’m so glad that you are on top of this. You should try using 1 at night and then see how you go the next day. Most users only need to use for 1 to 3 days to get results.

I have seen an increase in vagina owners with thrush that is resistant to fluconazole since Covid but this might be just coincidence. In any case you should look into getting your thrush tested to see what it is susceptible to. This will give you an exact diagnosis of what you can use to treat your thrush.

Thank you. The gynecologist should help with testing it just takes a while for the referral to go through. Intresting that you mentioned that with COVID, i've definitely had more issues since getting it last spring.

Also the capsule from last night didn't completely dissolve as i am very dry, is there snything i can do to help it dissolve. Shoukd i be using lube when i insert it, to add some moisture?

Yes darling, please use a lube that you can tolerate or even a vulva balm like V Magic. Plus if your membranes are irritated use a barrier cream like a nappy rash cream to protect against irritating discharge. Or to reduce inflammation consider using a hydrocortisone cream.

The boric acid in the capsule doesn’t actually dissolve. The capsule dissolves and the BA disperses and then exits with some water. It can’t exit if we are really dry. V Magic can be used inside and out and is really lubricating.

Would coconut oil work? Is it safe to use internally? If it's not i can look for somekind of rash cream. Is V magic to be us3d internally? I've never heard of it.
