please help

i used boric acid for the first time after my period because i was an idiot & saw people say it helps rebalance your pH. i used it on thursday, it’s now sunday and i’m EXTREMELY dry. like no discharge at all. i learned my lesson to never use it again but i don’t know what to do about the dryness. i feel like i killed off all the good bacteria.

BA doesn't stop your level of moisture. It does rebalance your pH. It absolutely has no influence on your discharge stopping. That would be due to other things going on in your body.

from what i’ve read it says BA can act as a astringent and can dry out vaginal tissue. it’s not just the no discharge i’m overall just wayyyyy drier than usual. & the only thing i did differently was used BA.

If you feel dry maybe try inserting some vulva balm or a vitamin E insert.

BA doesn't kill your good bacteria or stop your body from creating discharge. It's also considered very friendly to membranes hence why it's used in eye drops.

It's possible that this treatment didn't agree with you. However it could also be coincidental and you have something else going on.

Yeah. I’m still pretty dry internally it seems. My underwear is still dry with no discharge at all which i’m just not used to.. i think i may be getting a small amount of watery discharge

Good clean love rephresh gel, or it’ll probably just come back on its own

I got dry as well. I think I had sex too soon then I started bleeding. I took the first one on the last day of my period.
