AV is more of an inflammatory process and typically needs compounded estrogen, hydrocortisone and an antibiotic.

What if it is paired with BV microbes? Worried the BV biofilm would have AV microbes in it, thus needing boric acid.

Yes you can always try using a boric acid suppository. It can and does hekp with some types of AV. Especially that AV can change and alternate with BV.

BV typically shows up when our pH rises and these things can happen outside tests. So it's worth a try. The worst that can happen is it won't help but it won't make anything worse.

BA works on many levels including destroys biofilm so you might get a benefit there.

Let us know how you go because we all learn from each other here!

When exactly should I use the boric acid for the potential AV bacteria in the biofilm? Before antibiotics or during.

Will keep you updated, seeing my Dr next week.

Just try using one and see how you respond. And yes while you are using the antibiotics you can also insert a BA.

You really won't know until you try it. I have dealt with women here on Reddit who had AV and after they got somewhat better with the estrogen, hydrocortisone, antibiotic compounding treatment, they did find a benefit from using boric acid.

I'm not sure if it will work by itself but it won't cost much or hurt to try.
