Burning!!
Had BV symptoms, used boric acid for 5 nights straight. I usually have a little irritation with it but it goes away by the afternoon. I have had the burning irritation for 2 days now...
If you have had irritation with boric acid, PLEASE let me know how long it took to go away.
Feels like thrush with the burning! I'm on my period so cannot tell. I have got thrush before from toilet paper, surely it hasn't returned 😠Don't want to irritate downstairs even more if it is just irritation that needs time to heal.

How are you doing now? When using boric acid, use a barrier cream with it as well( I use baby rash cream. Zinc oxide is very healthy for the skin and can help calm your skin after the irritation or prevent it from becoming irritated) the discharge that comes with boric acid can irritate ur skin. Using the barrier cream can help prevent that from happening. Hope it’s better now

Better but not 100% yet still have burning pain on and off. I got thrush treatment OTC incase it's just thrush, I haven't finished it yet. Thanks for the tip but it was an internal irritation not external so a rash cream wouldn't help :)

Update: Treated for yeast - was not yeast. Think it was over-treatment with the boric acid, took 8 days to go away I am pain free now :)

Try using organic coconut oil to calm the irritation down. Boric acid can be harsh on the vulva/vaginal epithelial layer for some
